Yay for big play areas that let your cildren play all day (not really) and let you sit around being lazy, nattering to friends, drinking tea and stitching! Have got a little cat done and started on the next and final fairy - I really do like these holidays -am now planning my big six week holiday in stitching terms

Talking of HAED, has anyone ordered off their site?

They have 25% off right now but I wondered if it's worth it once you've converted to £... how do you pay? And are their charges for receiving parcels from the US?

Is it better just to order on sewalong site... not in a rush, barely half way through my Calendar Bears but have put off ordering a HAED for so long I have to order one now, the temptation of the Julie Fain designs is too much!!!

Hi guys, sorry I havent been good at posting for the last few days, when Im having a down day I cant even be bothered to speak to anyone. I have done a lot of stitching though. I have finished the 3 photo frames which are pictured below - I just have to get the photos and put them together:

    P1010186.jpg

    P1010189.jpg

A while ago my Dad mentioned buying me stuff to make a angel for my mum, he bought the pattern without telling me and when I told him there was nowhere that a blue picture would fit in the house nothing else happened until yesterday when a parcel arrived, he got some company in america to convert the colours and send all of the fabric, threads, metalics and beads. Now he wants it finished by June! I was up until 4am stitching this morning - with not knowing how the end result is going to look Im quite keen to get on wth it! He chose red and white as he is a sunderland fan!

This is where I am up to so far, it is a pattern by Mirabilia called Angel of the new Dawn:

This is what my dog thinks of all my stitching!

Thanks again to everyone that has helped me out with sending bits and pieces. I cant wait to start on my pretty treble clef now I have all the kit - so far I havent stitched a single thing for myself!

Rofl - can justify it cos all those UFOs have now been decluttered :Tto other stitchers and if I get the fairies done then they can be framed and put on wall instead of cluttering up a corner of the lounge. And dd decluttered a pile of books she didn't want anymore to the friends we met at the play area. And we decluttered 2 eggs to them and they decluttered 2 back to us! Pigpen would be proud of us really:rotfl:

AAARgh - have just posted this and Bubbles sneaked on with her pics, but I scrolled up and just saw the left hand bottom edge of her couch which looked instantly like a rather nasty case of piles (am so sorry but I screamed and thought the computer had been virused and had lots of dodgy pics on roflroflrofl)
