I found that pic via google images, not many finishers by the looks of it :rotfl: I'll take it if no-one else wants it, i like a challenge :)

Oh no I thought you had done it when you posted the picture! Have just popped it in the post for funfairprincess to do - she will probably need counseling and send it on to you once she has had enough of all the browns :rotfl:(or she could quietly copy the chart for you ;)).

Also posted blue tit and wedding sampler out - have got stamps on flower one for Maria but still need her to PM her real life name so postie doesn't die laughing at Maria and the imps :)

Am carrying on with the fairies tonight - aiming to get next fairy in the line done (but without backstitching) if I stay up nice and late

Maria, the dictionary of bra's is coming along great, looks great completed too (thanks ruth)

Lelc, the chinese god of wealth looks fab, very vibrant colours, i hope it works and you get mountains of cash ;)

Shelly, congrats on finishing the rose fairy she looks stunning, much better than the kit photo. Good luck for a quick finish on the Fuschia Fairy.

Judellie, the kadinsky kit is coming along great lots of strange colours in it. I presume it's a painting converted to cross stitch, sorry not up on these sorts of things :)

23rdspiral, looking good, forgive me if you posted already, but which kit are you doing?

Keiss, the Astronomer is a massive project, your progress is wonderful :)

Poppett, garnet is looking great, its extremely detailed isn't it, much more than the picture looks.

Louise, i love that stealing the moon chart, not usually my sort of thing but purple is my favourite colour, i would be in heaven.

Dorastar, your row of fairies are soo cute :) No worries about the kit, i have loads of country companion charts i could do, but browns are driving me crazy atm on the lions :rotfl:

Phew i need to post more often, lol i hope i didn't miss anyone :)

Counseling ! :eek:Oh more than likely but you'll have to provide it Dorastar and I'm holding you totally responsible:rotfl::rotfl:. nmm has me email if she needs me ;)
    Hi Flat Eric,

I have the 15" (burgundy) Siesta Lapman thing - I bought it from RQ or RS (whatever the wretched website is called) - sorry, I am at work and don't have access to my bookmarks - and paid £29.99 for it - I think that they still do it for this price. ETA - I mean RU Crafts - http://http://www.rucraft.co.uk/detail.php?productid=ST01313&proddesc=Burgundy+Lapman+Bag+15%26quot%3B+with+Scroll+Frame&supercategory=0040BRN00028%7E0050CAT00166&branch=&wcategory=CAT00166&catdesc=&super=0040BRN00028~0050CAT00166&treecode=TRE00011

My OH is in my good books he just sorted my hoop by removing the fastenings and putting a scew and bolt on it. Clever man I was going to chuck it! and he's says I'm the skinflint

Sorry nmm, i forgot to say! it's Lucie Heaton's Japanese Kokeshi Doll "love & devotion", cover kit from March's Crossstitcher. I really like Kokeshi and Russian Dolls, but don't own any, so thought this would be just as good :)
Spiral when i used to knit they weren't in metric lol. 4 mm is the metric size and size 8 is what it says on older patterns . It makes a difference to the size your piece of knitting will turn out.
Don't worry about postage i can get my son to post the odd thing from work for free.

Thanks for the info craftygranny, I was getting quite puzzled. If you really dont need them and it won't put you out of pocket, it would be wonderful to recieve some 'pre-loved' needles :):):).

    Hi Ladies,

I had an awesome night stitching last night and hope for the same tonight, once I've had dinner.

I received a newsletter from Stoik today, where I purchased their image conversation to cross-stitch software and it offers a 30% off discount code.

    Here's the product:
    http://www.stoik.com/hobby/stitch/

Here's the code if you want to purchase it: SPRING2010V2 (It's valid till 11th April)

I found the software easy to use and it includes Anchor and DMC threads and also a backstitch option that you can use.

um, i've now bought 3 new and 2 second hand Xstitch magazines. i'm really enjoying daydreaming with them! but they do cost too much really.

So i'm thinking about this offer for Cross Stitcher magazine. this website offers it at 3 for 1quid, with free gift, and it says that as its a trial you can cancel... but is it too good to be true? does anyone have experience of this or this type of offer? http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.u...e.asp?sid=4807

also, does anyone know that if i take it up, do i cancel the DD after the first payment of 1pound it taken, or wait till i've had all 3 mags, which will probably be the end of july!?? i'm not being tight but i really can't afford to move on to the usual DD subscription, and it afterall a trial.

    thanks for any help.

    Hi

Been a lurker for a while but I have all sorts of patterns on my pc but usually not what I want lol.. isn't it typical?

I looked for the bears one to see whether I had that pattern for the person that may have wanted it but it's one I don't have (typical again!) but if anyone needs any tatty teddy, forever friends, disney etc I have amassed loads over the years and put them on my PC... if you PM me I can take a look and see whather I have the pattern you want.

Anyway it's been great reading about everyone's progress and seeing the results on here... it's a great boost.

I'll go back to having a good old lurk now :)

It's a genuinely good offer, I use them (and started with that offer)

You can cancel the subscription any time online, I'm sure it's after the three mags though, so you need to remember to cancel in July.
