silverwhispers Welcome nice to meet you.

I have managed to finish Y and do some clouds and ladybirds on my Afghan oooooo I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

While we are takling charts my OH is from a travelling background and I have been looking for charts with a funfair/travelling theme like carousel horses, caravans that sort of thing. If anyone has any could they let me know I'm quite happy to pay costs etc.

Right I'm off to do some housework then I'll get my needle threaded.
    Happy stitching everyone.

I have quite a lot of carousel designs - individual horses mainly (including the Teresa Wentzler four seasons carousel horses), but one lovely one of a full carousel. Does that sound like the kind of thing you're after?

    Hi all.
Sorry its been so long since I've posted. Both baby and I have been poorly and not really had the time or energy to do very much. Been sort of keeping up with you all when I could and there is some lovely stitching been happening lately.

I've started the waste canvas project (and hate it) but it has not gone very quickly as it's hard work and being ill has not helped. Stupidly I chose a lickle ted picture to do (cover kit from magazine last year), which whilst very cute, is not the smallest picture to use as practice and I didn't read the chart properly and am using 2 threads instead of 1. Hoping I've either got enough in the pack or some in my stash. now I just want to get on with the new babys vest so that I can get back to Kezias Christmas stocking. The Humphreys corner is coming along nicely but there is still quite a bit of outline and some filler stitches to do.

I'm bitterly regretting having more than one project on the go at once. Am I the only one who just likes to concentrate on one thing at a time?

Can't believe it's easter already. The last 6 months have gone by so quickly and I just know that the next 6 months will be even quicker.

Anyway, hoping little lady will go to sleep soon so that I can do a bit more to her vest.

    Happy stitching everyone.

By the way, for all of you interested in Fairies, I have seen quite a few on ebay lately. Not a bad price either in some cases. I've just been looking at the kits that finish in the next day or so and always check the 'time ending soonest' as 'best match' gives me strange results.

Been outbid on a couple of popcorn ones but I am trying to be good and not spend too much now I'm just down to basic maternity pay. (Must add 'meet a rich man' to my to-do list)
