Maybe a metre length of each one?

I just got this email at work today - forwarded to all staff from Head Office.

    Dear All

Once again we have decided to support Earth Hour WWF's campaign to encourage people across the world to switch off their lights for an hour. Below you will find a message we are planning to publish on the company intranet later today and I would appreciate it if you could spread the message across our offices and sites so that arrangements can be made. Thanks for your help.

"The company I work for" signs up for Earth Hour.

On Saturday 27th March 2009 at 8:30pm, World Wildlife Fund (WWF) hopes that a billion people across the world will turn off their lights for an hour
    WWF’s Earth Hour.

"The company I work for" has reinforced its commitment to sustainability, the environment and climate change by officially signing up to Earth Hour 2010 and across the UK, arrangements have been made for lights to be switched off at our sites and offices.

For more information on Earth Hour 2010 please go to
www.wwf.org.uk/earthhour where you will also useful find information on how individuals can also take part.

Will do! Just got a call from the guy I spoke to at DMC, he says he has my colours sorted and in an envelope, they will be posted today 2nd class.
Hopefully there will be enough of the greens sent that I can unpick the leaf I put in the wrong place and move it. Don't have enough left right now to move it, that's one of the reasons I wasn't going to bother.
It does look ok and it's unlikely anyone else would know it's in the wrong place.....but I know and it's bugging me! :rotfl:

Oh Shelly tell me about it! I hate having things wrong on a cross-stitch and will try and unpick it if I haven't gone too far. :o

The good news is ladies that I have now finished my puzzle, so I hope to pick the stitching up again this week, want to crack on with it now. Now this weather seems to be improving (though it's raining as I look out my window) I hope to get outside soon for some stitching.

Here's the puzzle for you to see (I know it's off topic):

I'm soo pleased with it and it now takes pride of place in the living room.

Have now picked up on an old UFO. Haven't touched it in 5 years:eek:

    It's a Kandinsky picture I put into a cross-stitch converter program.

MrsM - hope your arm is ok and not stopping you from stitching.

    Happy Stitching everyone

Well I'm chuffed to bits as I just got a laplight off ebay for £12 (including postage). They normally cost about £60. This should help me to complete one of my UFO's, the Taj Mahal, which is on black aida. I was really struggling to see the holes. I tried different lighting and the white pillow case underneath but it didn't help. Interestingly the design is featured in one of this months cross stitch magazines - but I started mine when it was originally published about 5 years ago.

I stopped doing the underwater scene for a while as I found I was making one mistake after another and not enjoying it at all - so I thought that I should give it a rest for a while and then go back to it later (add it to my UFO pile).

I've now started my Chinese God of Wealth (this one). I'll post a picture when I can find a matching camera and lead. At the moment I'm really enjoying it and have finished one page of 12 pages.

It's a real inspiration to see the ongoing and completed pictures so please keep them coming. :j
