Think I am the stupid one :o

Attaching the 16 side of the material to the 21 roller would be better. Confused - done too much work - need to go home boss - I wish. Ah well only 2½ hours to go. Then home and some sewing :j
:j cross stitch forever, housework whenever :j

It's a little quiet on here.....hope that means lots of stitching going on :D

As I'm waiting for the threads to come from DMC I thought I'd get on with some backstitching today and am very pleased with myself that I have got all the top half done!
I can't really do much more on it now until the threads arrive so might make use of my time tomorrow by getting the threads sorted and cut to length for the Fuschia Fairy.

Hope you are all well :)

Good luck! You can practice online too. Boring, but at least you'll be safe when you do get on the road.

Bubbles not sure the reasons behind you not being out for a while but I suffer from depression and haven't been out for months either, I must admit ive missed a couple of dr's appointments too because I just haven't been able to bring myself to even get dressed let alone see him :o Anyway enough of me soundind silly I just wanted to say that whatever the reason i can understand that it must have felt weird going out for the first time in a while and well done for doing it :j

This sounds so like me. I am actually scared to leave the house and I used to be so sociable. I occasionally go to Morrisons 5 minutes away with my parents but cant manage to get out of the car and like you have missed medical appointments because I cant face it. Its amazing how many stitchers have depression.

Spotty Butterfly, I am in Chester-le-Street so quite near dainty toys but never manage to make it there due to being scared to go out. My mum forced me to go to hobby craft. Thing is I know once I was there I would have a brilliant time, but I am so different to the person I was that seeing people scares me as stupid as that sounds.

I havent been on here for a couple of days as I had a colonoscopy yesterday and the laxatives I hd to take have had me throwing up for three days! Not a plesent experience. I now need to stitch something for my aunt as we have just been told her cancer is terminal. I am thinking of doing the butterfly and poem about an angel watching you from the last WOCS. I dont want to do anything big as I am dying to start on Summer Music thanks to some special people on here.

  • HI there everyone, all your projects sound fab!! At the minute I'm finishing a kit my mil got me of my hubby, not much left to do.

I was wondering if anyone knows of a good free programme I can use to transform a picture into a cross stitch chart? My fil is in an abba tribute band and was wanting to do a cross stitch of them for his birthday. As long as it's free and easy to use, lol, any reccommendations much appreciated.
