Hi Gang
Just catching up on what has been said since I last looked.
I got a real feeling of warmth. We have established a right wee community of friends here, I feel we are all here for each other. As my husband puts it, we are each others chearleaders (he is American). I have some stash that I will work through but I always keep my extra threads so if any one needs certain colour I can try and help. Remember someone just running out of colour and a few stitches to go.
I am at work now but tonight I will be posting Z - so that is all the flowers done in the floral alphabet. Just to do the final square with my name on it and a wee dedication at bottom. I guess I will wash it before I put up the photo of it completed.
Thank you once again for all your support during it - hopefully my materials will be here soon for the golden earth/orange lady.
Kind wishes to all

New challenge finish birth sampler by end of the month
No matter how much life knocks you down, it's your ability to get back up, brush yourself off and face your next set of challenges that makes you stronger0 -
Sweetcarer, how exciting. Really looking forward to seeing your finished work. Well done, you have worked really hard on this one.
I agree we feel like a group of friends, it is really lovely. I'm sorry that so many of you suffer from depression but I am very glad to see how much we can help each other and the distraction and pleasure we all get from stitching is wonderful.
Still working on the humphreys corner but he is coming along nicely. I'll add a picture when he is finished. Almost done his body just the half stitch background and outlines to do.
Then I can make a start on Kezias stocking and new babys vest.
Did anyone have any experience of waste canvas? My previous question sort of got a bit lost I think. Any help you can offer will be very much appreciated.

Hi Maria, We are both fine thanks. She is just getting over an ear infection which has not been nice for her and I've felt mean trying to stitch instead of playing with her to take her mind off it.
As soon as I get a few minutes I'll give this waste canvas a try. I'll make sure it is properly secure and keep my fingers crossed that it looks ok. At least, I hope, I have a few weeks to practice and do it again if it goes wrong.

Have used waste canvas - double, triple check it's attached straight, make sure it's secure and you will be fine.
It's just a bit of a pain getting all the threads out at the end - I hope it's not a big project lolCross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. To Maria and the imps for sending me the chart of the Mother's Day sampler. People on here are great and I think it's fab that we can swap charts.
Thanks again Maria.:T0 -
Just popping in to say a quick hello. Hope everyone is busy stitching. I have been and it really is helping me. I'm still stitching a cover kit of the tulips. It's taking far longer than it looks like it should, but I don't mind too much. My back and knee are still a bit sore, but I did venture out on my own yesterday to try and exercise them a bit. Only to the local shop to buy something and I was in major pain on the way home, but I did it.
I'm feeling so cold today. Might have to dig out some warmer clothes instead of hiding under the duvet! Right, back to my stitching...:)
