Here is my Santa, and the magazine picture of the complete portrait. As you can see I've got a lot to do but this was only started in late November so I'm pretty pleased with progress so far and aim to have him complete and on the wall for next Christmas!

Curlytop, that link just takes me to photpbucket but not to your picture(s).

I'm really enjoying the vibrant colours of my santa, and really trying to keep on top of the backstitch as I go along because I hate getting to the end of a project and then having to do hours and hours of backstitch. So far he's on track for completion before Christmas 2010 so I'm hoping you guys will keep me going so he doesn't become an abandoned UFO.

    Santa is fab.

i hate backstitch too - avoid it if i can get away with it. The popcorn bears are the worst.
loves how my "I've been censored" signature has been censored. LOL. Happy Christmas. :xmastree:
  • Well I've ordered the kit for the celtic knot and the band sampler - I like the look of that one for me!

I have a UFO which I would love to finish however I have loast the script so to speak, its no longer in publication either...so ideas on how to get hold of a copy?
Its a Bucilla stamped cross stitch for Renaissance Rose Quilt (double quilt) co-ordinates wih #41565 if that helps.
Quite like the idea of doing embroidered/cross stitched pillow cases - yes I am weird - and part of me likes the kits however it must be possible to do my own just need the imagination I think - and more time.
