Liesa we are here to support you, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of someone who sounded so special. My thoughts are with you, your daughter and the family of the little girl.

We really are getting a lot of snow aren't we? Suppose it is good in one way, means I can't get out to do as much as normal and I should be crafting, but at the moment its on the back burner, two of my girls aren't in school today and it has been lovely taping them in the garden playing. I wonder if there is a way to include this to send to a distant relative as a present? What do you lot think?

Yeah thats a nice idea liesa, some relatives would really like to receive something like that.

I've been out and about with my kids in the snow, had a really fun snowball fight.

Something that amused me I heard on the radio earlier that I thought might appeal to the ladies on here. There is a lady somewhere (sorry can't remember where) that felt so sorry for her chickens getting cold that she is knitting them wooly tank tops! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My warm fuzzies book arrived today! Going to have a sit down and good read through so I can decide what I am going to make from it first. Does anyone have a good site that they use to order felt products??
Mine came yesterday too! I LOVE IT! *ahem* I think I might have a go at felting some jumpers - she makes it sound really easy doesn't she? Lots of things I'm going to try from there ;)

hope this works - this is the link to kemps online wool store tht i found on last years thread. They've got some brilliant special offers on at the moment. I think I'm going to do a couple of scarves as well as the throw.

    Thanks Mrsmcawber for the link

There are charities that knit woollens for rescued battery hens as they are in such bad condition after their miserable factory farm experiences, poor little things.
