is it the one to be a door stop? If it is just a teddy, then I go around carboots buying up all the yucky horrible teddies and I strip their insides out and re-use them.
It makes me laugh to be honest because they say things like, oh we bought him from america isn't he cute? and I am thinking.. you dont want to know that I am going to strip his insides out and steal his eyes lmao

Really want to get started on my christmas cards, but don't have anything except christmas papers, will have to get some things bought. I notice a lot of people with fancy scalloped circles, are these made with punches??? if so can someone point me in the right direction for these things??
cheers
emmy xx
You can make christmas cards with just paper. Cut out a triangle of funky paper stick it on your card and put 2 green/brown buttons underneath it, voila....a christmas tree
The scallops are either punches OR nesties which can be used with a cuttlebug. I use punches.
I loved the cake pop idea so much yesterday the sheep are so cute! I really want to make some wedding ones for my wedding!
Anyway, a bit easier today, this is the craft I've got for my blog:

For each swatch you order you get one piece roughly 8.5" x 6" in size. These are the bits I have so far - the top 3 are sort of plastic coated, the bottom 3 are fabric
Gorgeous, unfortunately I can see the swatch option! But I ahve gone into Laura Ashley in the past and picked up all their little swatches...how MSE of me...lol :rotfl:2024 Challenges- Grocery Budget (January £0/£300)

Oooh look! Martin Lewis is a loose woman! Hai Martin :money:
Anyway, fourth day off school in a row and my daughters are getting fidgety so I explained to them about Homemade xmas and suggested we do birthdays and easter too.
They are now busily and happily making bracelets and birthday cards ready for when their friends birthdays come around. we are also cleaning out a cupboard to keep it all in.

I was a lurker in last year's thread (only from November) and got some great ideas for Christmas so thank you all!

my mum made me and my sister one of these about 28 years ago and we loved them. She made a couple of people to go in it as well. Kept us happy and quiet for quite a while!Me, DD1 19, DS 17, DD2 14, Debt Free 04/18, Single Mum since 11/19

Thanks for the C.Kidson link.............could use some of them I'm sure.
Not much on the 'crafting' front today but have covered a cappacino box with easter paper to put flannel bunny in for little grandson.............got a feeling my bog standard hole puncher might not be big enough to punch holes for the ribon though..........I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
