fab idea!! i'll bear that in mind for other ideas but yes its a doorstop so any other ideas would be great|!!
came across the black sheep ltd website
it has some bargains on wool and crossstitch stuff, gonna place my order in a mo!!
then I would say use either rice or gravel from the garden, make sure you put it into a really heavy bag first to avoid it spilling inside the fabric.. (I am sure you already know all this much more than I do!!)

as you can see I am catching up with the threads today, been without my car for three days and walking everywhere is causing me to loose loads of time.
Cath kidson website, swatch samples, can someone refresh my memory as to where you get them?
Also what are you doing with them when you get them lol... would love to do a throw or soemthing for my Mum and Dad's anniversary on the 24th December..

hello Pixifaery!
Welcome, I am new here too, but I tell you, you couldn't wish to meet nicer people on this thread. There is NO nastiness no sarcasm(except about our other halfs if we have them) and I think you will find some GREAT things to make and do here!
You need to set aside at least 10 hours a day, because I warn you, once you get the bug for this malarky you won't stop hehehehe

Hello pixifaery
You don't have to do anything except what you've already done by saying hello. Can't wait to see what you make
Must admit I couldn't see the CK samples option on site today - it used to be underneath the order quantity.
Need to organise my bookmarks as am saving lots of pages for later and they are all getting jumbled now.:staradminHuuuuuuge thank you hugs to all posters:staradmin0 -
I have two windows open whoopidoo, one has 13 tabs on and the other has 6 tabs, I have threatened my lot with sudden death if they close either one!!
I think they have withdrawn the swatch option on the page at the moment. I want to do a patchwork throw, anyone got a link please?

Thanks for the C.Kidson link.............could use some of them I'm sure.
Not much on the 'crafting' front today but have covered a cappacino box with easter paper to put flannel bunny in for little grandson.............got a feeling my bog standard hole puncher might not be big enough to punch holes for the ribon though..........
Shame you don't live near me mary, I would have punched it for you with my Big Bite. (OOh look, they're on sale! :j) They are brill!I don't want to make money, I just want to be wonderfulMarilyn Monroe0
