chillin nutta - making a mug coaster from a fleece was fiddly.........main problem being the size and cutting the piece around the handle of the mug. After I'd done it I saw some much easier ones........well they looked easy anyway...............;)

Hehe mary you always make me giggle :):) do you have any instructions, i'd really like to try these out :):) you've intrigued me :P :P

Have started knitting the bear today, seeing as though it is snowing and there's no chance of going anywhere, not least of all with my 6 month old!!! So have stayed in and been creative. Onto the 2nd head piece now and it's knitting up quite quickly although I have stopped for tea, etc.

The web address book is a really good idea. I'm alway saying I need to note down web addresses because I don't know how many times I have either cleaned my computer or something has gone wrong and I have lost loads of stuff.

Thought of an address book the other year to put down where things in the house are kept

I had to do this for stuff in my craft room. I've got an index box with index cards, as I can never find stuff, especially when I've had a sort out and moved things. I have to write down exactly where things are, as I can never remember, and end up buying the same thing again. (or rather, I used to.... won't be doing that any more now I'm an MSE'er!)

  • Hi Leisa
I am so sorry to hear about your daughters friend, someone dying is always so sad but for someone so young its just tragic. Thinking of you and your daughter and the family and friends of the little girl

  • I'm spending the evening sorting out all my wool stash. I've got my 13yo dd winding wool !

My poor brother has been given alcohol for the last 12 years - this year he's getting a patchworked sofa throw!:T

I've decided to do a scrapbook/recipe file for my aunt. We're very close and I'm going to use lots of photos of my girls in it as well as some of my mum's recipes and stuff. Does anyone know where I can get good (cheap) recipe folders from or know of how I could make my own?
