Have had to do the hardest card of my life today.:(
My daughter's best friend died yesterday.. aged 8. I am in a terrible state and cannot pick myself up today. She was the sweetest, cutiest, cheekiest little thing and I feel honoured and priviledged to have shared in her short life. My daughter is so upset and as the snow falls silently on my garden I can't help but think that the world has lost someone truly special.
She had an asthma attack and died in her mum's arms.

I hope you don't mind me posting, I just am alone right now and not sure how to stop crying.

M son would have been ten next month but was born asleep, and it stings as much today as then.
Take your time to feel your grief. It is a really sad thing for a small child to die.

Oh Liesa that is sad, I know how you feel, My daughter is older but lost her best friend and soul mate just before Christmas and I too am shocked. She too was a wonderful girl and I cannot believe she is gone. You have to do what you have to do to get through these times and like many have said on here you have people to talk too if you need too.
Stay strong and you know we are here if you need us. xx

I am so glad that I took the decision to post on here, I wasn't sure it would be appropriate but I am so pleased I did, to know that you are all thinking of us and it makes me feel warm that I am amongst friends.
I just hope I can get through the next few days until the funeral :(:(
