The hard ones to do will be my cousin and his vegetarian girl friend, I did them a hamper for 2009 but i would like to be a little more creative this year.
Sally Purple on the last years thread there was a bit of a jokey pressie which was a tin of baked beans with a funny rhyme on. I don't know if anyone knows where it is, but i'll have a look tomorrow. A bit daft, was something to do with bubbles in the bath :rotfl::j Baby boy arrived 22nd August 2012 :j

Hi you can always mount them onto CD covers or an ink pad lid to save some cash. Hope that helpsMortgage - £2338.07 paid off Feb 2023 BTL 1 £51,089.10 £35789.36 paid off July 2025 BTL 2 £81,504.52 BTL 3 £77,497.020

you do need an acrylic block or you can permanently mount them to wood.
one of the £1 mad about cards acrylic blocks here: http://www.madaboutcards.com/product.php/17719/1842
With the acrylic block I tend to just pop it on use it and take it off I don't actually stick the stamp to the block (not sure if this is what your supposed to do or not, as I'm a bit of a make it up as you go along kind of person!) the way you can use more than one stamp per block.Trying to make a better life.... Oooo I love this little bear... another make to go on the huge list...
These would make great new baby keepsake gifts, could sit on the top of a nappy cake or perched in a hamper basket.

He reminds me of the classic Pooh bear. Very much that style, which I like.
That's a good idea. I have the pattern in front of me now and just waiting for my Mum to drop off some needles later and will make a start! Will post pics when he's done. I'm thinking of making him in a different type of wool too! See how that works.0
