Im so so sorry, i cant imagine how you are feeling, as 8 is no age at all, and the little friends become part of the family and you must be hurting so much, take care and if you need to chat, just pm me, huge huge hugs in the meantime,:A :j0

liesa - my thoughts are with you..............huge hugs to you and your daughter.((((((((((:o))))))))))xxxxxxxxxxx
You're among friends here;)
chillin nutta - making a mug coaster from a fleece was fiddly.........main problem being the size and cutting the piece around the handle of the mug. After I'd done it I saw some much easier ones........well they looked easy anyway...............;)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

How sad
Sending big (((hugs))) but don't really know what to say - I can hear my two 'fighting' in the other room and for once am glad that I can ..... Make sure your LO makes some snow angels tomorrow - especially for her friend x:jPobodys Nerfect:j0 -
Sending lots of hugs your way and hope you get through the next week or so, the best you and your daughter can. The funeral will be hard and maybe sometime in the future you and your daughter could make a memory box which reminds her of her friend ie photos of the pair of them, pictures of bands they liked, pictures of food they used to eat together and a cd of favourite songs. I work in a school and we use memory boxes for bereavement for all ages and i know several of our pupils still have these boxes for a long time.Jan lunch to work days 0/200

liesa,
that is so sad, i feel for you and your daughter. xxxxxx
craftmad, i love your cupcake keyrings and i am following your blog. I`d love to make some of these and i hope you dont mind if i copy them.....just need to learn to sew first
i also wanted to say and went completly off track, (thoughts with liesa) i got an address book today and covered it in some leftover backing papers. I`m using it for websites. eg, under "F" i`ve put felt , highlighted it and wrote the website. I was thinking, these would make nice presents for people who dont know the best sites for things....we can all type "felt" into google and get lists of sites but until someone recommends them we dont wade through them all.
I also got a free book from Snazzle Books (on the net) I thought the postage was steep at £2.65 but it a hard backed one that is for a present. They have a different book everyday.Challenge 2018 - Learn by heart the Book by Wayne Morgan on Amazon - Betfair Football Trading as it helps to supplement my small income :beer:0 -
susan - love the idea of a book for websites...........you're right........there are so many.
I do my family history as well and got a list of those (somewhere) Really must get things in some sort of order.............:rotfl:
Thought of an address book the other year to put down where things in the house are kept -normally its me who deals with bank stuff and any other paperwork but if I was in hospital like I was last year OH wouldn't have a clue where to find things like that. All it needs is Bank putting under B with relevant account numbers and phone numbers, same with insurance.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

erm...yes something like a clear acrylic block I think - not got one myself as despise stamping! (no patience!) not sure where you get them from but probably the same site or eBay?
I saw some in Rymans last week for 49p each. They also had ink pads (with 3 colours) and various sets of stamps, selling them off I think. Don't know if they'd still have them, but worth a look if you have a Rymans near you.Keep Calm and Carry On Kondoing

Have had to do the hardest card of my life today.:(
My daughter's best friend died yesterday.. aged 8. I am in a terrible state and cannot pick myself up today. She was the sweetest, cutiest, cheekiest little thing and I feel honoured and priviledged to have shared in her short life. My daughter is so upset and as the snow falls silently on my garden I can't help but think that the world has lost someone truly special.
She had an asthma attack and died in her mum's arms.
I hope you don't mind me posting, I just am alone right now and not sure how to stop crying.
