Thanks for the nice comments chillin'!
I love the cupcake bathbombs too. Not sure how harmful they could be? I know you can't sell things like that without a license or something, but you can give them as gifts.
Giggles - thats a great idea! Kerry has so many fab ideas! She was one of my Feature Fridays last year! I might have to put this on my crafty blog too

oo I didn't mean they'd be harmful, I just meant i'd probably make them harmful lol i can't even bake cakes without doing them wrong - so i've no chance with making these beautiful things... I'd like them as a gift, i'd be delighted to receive them

lol, i'm terrible at everything though, all the intentions of doing things, but end up doing nothing lol! but not this year, deffo going to get bum in gear!
I always want to try out some lovely stamps etc, but never know what to get, plus on such a low income I'd never afford it, so just end up using bits and bobs i've got around the house, and some things i've saved from craft boxes i've bought from poundland etc...2008 Wins: 2 x VIP tickets to Ministry Of Sound, Umbrella, Tea Towel, £50 Tesco Gift Card, Amplifier (worth over £1,100 alone).

jamtart - just looked at your blog.................love the book...........I'd love to make one but all our payments go out direct debit -saves me having to think about them.
I love any excuse for a notebook............done a journal -covered it with pretty paper and I'll fill it with whatever happens this year.......personal stuff, the weather, other events. etc.
Also done a gardening journal so I can remember what we plant, when and whether it does any good or not.
And I've done a christmas notebook...........don't think there's much left in the notebook line I can do
Really must start on my scrapbooking especially as OH bought me a lovely set for christmas.............
chillin nutta - keep coming with the ideas..........I did a mug cosy last year = not knitted though..........made it out of a fleece hat (all for recycling where poss.)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

another thing that I have mentioned earlier is vinyl bowls.
Put simply take a scratched record ( or go to your local charity shop) and place it over a pyrex dish heat oven to about 180 and put dish on a baking tray, pop in oven. Now you will notice in about 20 seconds the record begin to droop, once it has drooped down you can remove from oven with mitts on (or teatowel) and begin molding. I like to make mine fold in slightly and you can create some really cool bowl shapes out of them. They make excellent fruit bowls or just decoration. Be careful of the following though.
1. this project is good for occassional use - but BEWARE fumes will become an issue if you make a production line out of it! I always leave my oven door slightly open once I turn oven off to ensure all gases are gone.
2. The plastic will be hot so please use GLOVES or similar.
3. these are NOT suitable for putting hot things in.
I also find that maybe it hardens before you have finished, if so they are easily put back into the oven to be rewarmed through and you can then reshape them if you so desire.
I use albums as big dishes and also 45's for trinket bowls. I tend to pick up albums up for about a £1 in charity shops and everyone I have given these to LOVE them xx2013 - wins - 6 TICKETS TO LONDON FESTIVAL!0
