I have cut Christmas cards up, made into tags popped holes and got my DD's to thread some glittery ribbon through, put them in an old chinese container and marked them up as Christmas Tags. I have made two blank cards today (not completely blank I did do stuff to them, blank for event lol)

I am going to step my game up tomorrow and aim to get some shelving up in the kitchen ( have 4 kids and a 4 bedroom house so no spare room for me) for all my crafting supplies.

Have made lots of bows and using an old sweet shop container to store them in.

time for beer now me thinks.

  • Thanks for the uses for pompoms... I made a few this year and made a garland to hang across a 3 1/2 metre window....looked quite good.:j Also had some on the Christmas tree.
I love the button bracelets... must get to a charity shop to see if they still have a button box!
Also this week got to mail organisers of craft fairs for the year and get some dates booked.
not a lot done today....insulating loft and taking down decorations with a 3 and a 1 year old. eek. still looks tidy.
aiming to start crafting by the 14th jan. tidying and organising till then.

    Hi,

Am I too late to join? I have read all the previous posts with great interest and taken notes as there are lots of things I think I will try to make this year. Must get organised and make a list of all the presents I need to make.

This link ties in well with my crafty diary I am writing this year so will go hand in hand.

  • Evening all..

I managed to get the christmas cards off of mum tonight, she's getting fed up with all the decorations now, and started taking things down... it's actually ashame, we were so excited putting them up, she's excited about getting them down... can't believe it's all over... anyhoo.. there are a few cards I want to keep because i'm rather sentimental lol why i don't know...

but most of them are really cute, and will make lovely little gift tags. Was planning on making some of the little boxes which were suggested a few pages back with some of them too.

I wanna start off small, as I always get flustered and end up not doing anything....will also try and make some cards when I get into my new house...it will give me something to do in the nights when there is nothing else to do...

Is there anything else we can do with the christmas cards apart from gift tags and little boxes?? quite fancy doing something else with them...

hope everyone else is having a lovely evening.
