Ok, so this has nothing at all to do with crafting........ my partner occasionally packs my lunch for me if I run out of time in the morning, and today I have a Divine chocolate Easter Egg in with my sandwich. Hurrah! Just wanted to share that with you. (The story, not the egg! mine, mine mine!)

I made lots of stuff for Valentine's this year! My very first all crafting one! :T

(I've put this on the Valentine's thread too but just in case you missed it)

            I made:

A 'don't forget I Love You' tin, a handmade card, a record-effect scrapbook with homemade tattoo tags and a 'With Love' chocolate heart sweetie pack. How I made them can be found on my blog (or for individual links look at this post)

This thread is what has motivated me to do so much crafting this year! :T

qwiksave - brilliant valentines stuff :T
Not done anything for OH.........we don't normally 'do' Valentines day but as he was so ill (still isn't totally well) I've wrapped up a heart shaped candle in white cello for him..........was going to do gravy tub with 25 reasons why 'I love you' but think he'd think it a bit soppy so changed my mind on that one.

Spent this morning with my water colours painting some flowers on some plain blue notepaper I found that I'm putting in with MIL's box of greetings cards then went on to do a beach hut for sons coaster set.......well two beach huts - this time not the size of a shed.........:rotfl:
Need to finish that off tomorrow so its another job done and out of the way, otherwise I'll have loads of 'half done' bits everywhere !
I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Speaking of Christmas :D, has anyone started making their Christmas Cards yet?

I have, I made this one last night!:

I've put it on my blog. I was wondering if other people might like to do some too, maybe a few each month, then you won't be panicking in December. Show us them here and on your blogs. - just don't let your friends and relatives see them!

That's a lovely card....! Yes, I've made 10 so far, but am not really into making cards at the moment. I try to make some each month so it's not one mad panic come the end of October. I made all my cards last Christmas with the exception of 2, about 120, so I need to get a move on don't I, LOL!

Love it - the card is fab :T I've been slack on card-making this year (other crafts have taken over!) and went to trusty Clintons :o. I'm just off to the Valentines thread to see if there are any things I can make in a day!

                  1. Oh dear

Am sat feeling really bad at the minute - I'm skint beyond skint this month due to a financial error on other half's pay slip so I've had to pick up his bills so I haven't been able to afford to buy/make him a valentines day present.

Thinking I have some blank cards in the bedroom i might be able to make something from but no idea what.

                  3. Just a quick update

                    I LOVE BEING ORGANISED!

Went to pharmacy to find pegs (of all things) and found cheap Valentines day card for 49p. So got that. Went to Coop and mate gave me back the £2 I'd lent her last week so brought 6 baggies of sweets which were 3 for £1. Came home and looked under my bed and found a little tackle box I intended to make sweet boxes for Christmas for my step brother so have now filled it with sweeties, written the cards and found a jack Daniels miniature set complete with glass, small glass bottle of coke, mini jack Daniels and a bottle opener which i must of stashed and forgotten about so that's his valentines day done!

                    :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

sammy -glad you got sorted - otherwise I was going to suggest an empty gravy tub, cover with paper, fill with reasons 'why I love you'...................;)

Well, coasters arrived today for my water colours to go in and I'd ordered smaller size than my piccys..........
Still, when I really looked I could cut them down easy enough apart from one which really needed re-doing anyway...............so that's another pressie sorted :j
