What do they do about the postage charge? You can swallow it if its on a large order but if its applied on an order consisting of cheap wrapping paper as the other bits are out of stock I'll be fuming!
Earlier in the year i placed an order with free delivery if it was over so much - one item out of stock and they were going to charge me delivery - so i rang CS to complain and they credited the postage charge back to me. Suggest you ring and say you would not have ordered just wrapping paper, and is there anything they can do to help re the postage - worth a try. PS - was about to give up on my Christmas Eve order, but got email today to say its despatched - bit of a coincidence as i rang yesterday to enquire where is it...anyway, i am so chuffed, worth logging on Christmas Eve after all! so if you have not got yours yet, don't give up right away, you may still get it.

I can't see me getting anything as there's no movement on my orders even though its been split into 5 separate deliveries by them. I've just tried cancelling the wrapping paper online in case its that holding the rest of it up, but it won't let me so think I had better ring them tomorrow. Have most of you had your stuff now?

Can someone translate this??? Dear God, your poor standard of spelling and grammar astounds me.

That's a bit harsh. Why be nasty about it? There's no need for it.

sorry if i am not making myself clear

in short, marks and spencer do not allow you to purchase any incomplete item, i.e. if the top come in a set with blue bottom, even if during the sale, the set got separated, you are still not allow to purchase the top without the correct bar code matching bottom

the set that i wanted was placed in 2 separate section, unfortunately the top is size 12-18 mths but only 9-12 mths bottom left. i assume that as long as the design of the set matched, it doesnt matter what size i am buying (problems with my baby, he is too fat)

but the cashier simply refused to sell me the 2 items as the bar code is not matching for both (due to sizes) i was shocked

so i probed her further as to what gonna happen to the 2 items, she said both will be send to clearance store for discount price.i do not understand why they cant just sell me the 2 items for full sale price

teaspoon i try as hard as i can to explain the situation. you dun happen to be an english teacher are you?
