Hi all, well I have a days holiday today and am off out with my friend for lunch for her bday. Going to a V swanky resturant but it's her treat, thank god!

NOT done very well with cash already. Was panicking about a small operation that I was going to have on Monday (which was fine) and Mum (who is also fine) when I went to my friends on Sat night so drank my own bodyweight in red wine and got so drunk that I lost my mobile. This threw me into a further total panic as i lost ALL my numbers but is sorted now and only cost a tenner but spent loads in endless taxis to try to find it. What a mess!!! Made me realise that I need to take care of myself and chill out a bit more. Not saying I wont do all the social stuff cos I need that but just that I need to worry less about unimportant things. I can be quite a worrier, despite my enthusiastic demeanour!

Anyway I bought a new frock yesterday and had my haircut so feel good, if a little skint!

Did some sleuthing at my phone bills last night and got some of my favourite boys numbers back. Also went on a date with a medical student the other day. He's lovley and VERY sexy and will deffo see him when he gets back from his bit of VSO in 6 weeks time.

Food budget looking not bad, though my crap freezer box meant that I had to bin a bit of food that hadn't frozen. Some does, some doesn't but can't afford to get it looked at/get a new one so will just have to live with it.

Right off to clean and pick an outfit for today. Hope you all have a good one X

Thanks lovey. Well back on track and have had a good week. Met up with some OS ladies yesterday for food and wine. It was fabby! Got a date tonight with a hottie and have had my bro round for tea. Mum and Dad met me at the shopping centre today and it was lovely as always. She's doing great. Had a wheelchair but walked on her sticks a lot too and got herself some nice bits at M and S. She does love a nice cardi! Also bought me and bro's dinner/wine from there. It was delish.

Was out on Sunday night on a wild one and off tomorrow and meeting a mate for coffee. Got a bday night out on Saturday too and then my mate from Dubai is over so will be seeing her for lunch on Monday. My money needs to be a wee bit elastic this month! X

Hi ladies, the hottie looked a wee bit like David Beckham so that was very exciting!!! Had a fabby night out last night with a gay mate and it was quite cheap too. Off to meet my mate for lunch tomorrow and catch up with all her gang. Will be ace to see her. Hope you're all okay X

Hey, been shouting about it on other diaries but forgot to say on here I'VE GOT A NEW JOB, WITH A LOT MORE CASH AND LESS SUNDAY WORKING!!!! Very exciting and it's my first store manager role.

It's only for a year though so will be giving Mum £200 a month to save for me (except from the 1st month when I want to run up and down the city buying all kinds of stuff!!!) and then I have a buffer if I don't get a new job straight away ....and £2200 to go a trip to Oz to see my sis if I do!!!!

Really chuffed as I really do put the hours in and have to scrimp and save all the time so this will help a lot.

Hope everyone else is well. Been a very busy, fun week. Been emailing a guy I met from POF who's a medical student and overseas on placement at the mo. He's lovley and we are going to meet up when he gets back. Had one meet but it was the day after my op so just for a coffee but he's fun and very fit. He sent some pics today and he has the fittest bod I have ever seen. His stomach is !!!!!!!g amazing. Gutted that i spent yesterday at a bbq hoovering up sausages now as need to look like a goddess for meeting him!!!! Barbie was ace though and had a fab time with old friends. Hungover today so been uber lazy.

Just watching the Fairy Jobmother. !!!!!!!g Nora, these characters are scary!

Been very good today and made veggie chilli in the SC. Have also made some of Weezl's hummus to have with oatcakes as have been very naughty with buying crisps etc at work and for money and belly reasons it has to stop! Always make my own lunch but the snacks add up too. Have also cleaned the house, floors and all and done a few loads of washing.

Got a right long day tomorrow as am working a normal day at my work and then going to a team meeting for my new job. Very excited though as will get to meet the team and the founder. Whoop whoop. The twins and their mum are coming to meet me for lunch which will be fun although apparently one of them is bringing some huge and grubby toy she got at a car boot which she thinks I am desperate to meet!!! Their mum is not so convinced!

Money is not too bad as I got a bit of an overdraft this month to stop me panicking in a five weeker and now with the new job starting I will be better off in general.

    Hope you're all okay X

Hi all, God not posted in ages. Finished my old job, been to London to stay with my best friend, been to mums and been to the Fringe for a few days but back now and still on hols til Monday, when I start the new job. Got two weeks training down south (with days off up here of course) then into my own shop so lots of moving about. Haven't had to buy much food in as not been/wont be here! Have spent a bit on clothes for the new job though. Have lots of ideas for what to do with my extra cash as well as saving the £200 for my buffer but will post about that later.

Got my mate who I did the Fringe with into MSE yesterday. She is a teacher and makes really good money in a promoted post but is a terrible fritterer and gets annoyed with herself. She also wants to do a big trip next year and there's no reason why she can't so she's doing her budget calculator today and then we're going to speak on the phone. I am her money mentor! Who'd have thought it. Guess I do know what I'm doing, even if I sometimes get it a wee bit wrong!

Need to get ebaying now, my old uniform could earn me some good money and I'l be back later. X
