Buzzing! Scottish Power are going to send out a cheque for £90 so that's a boost. Continuing to sort the flat out and doing bits and bobs with that. It's grand but like to make changes now and again to keep it all fresh X

    Hey all,

Not posted in ages so lots been happening. Job going well, lots to do but all on the right track and held my 1st staff meeting on Wednesday which went really well. Girls are nice and keen to do things and am slowly getting Back of House sorted which is fab. Was at Head office last week and they seem keen to keep me after my year is up which is nice but may mean relocating so I'd have to have a big think about that one. Love my flat and life here but created this from scratch really so could do it somewhere else, question would be, do I want to? Long time away but something to think about.

Am continuing to declutter and am working on a task to make my bathroom more spa like. the tiles are white with a blue block anyway so have bought a white shower curtain and a few blue boxes from Primarni and it looks good so far. Next step is blue/white towels which I will buy after I get paid (a week today!). Also on the list is new bedding as this stuff looks tired and some more work clothes. I am also going to join a gym next month too and depending on my pay (owed from old job but not sure exactly how much) I may buy a small freezer as the one I have is not great and I know this would really help me to keep my food spend down. Done well again this month but need more variety in my diet, which the freezer would help with. Have tried Freecycle in the past but to no avail so may just buy one.

Have loved having some extra cash this month and have treated myself to some bits for work already. Going to enjoy this next wage and then start saving.

Met a new FWB this week which was nice and also saw a few friends for dinner. Next week I'm taking a friend to the theatre to see Black Watch, it's supposed to be amazing, meeting Mum and Dad on Wednesday and paid Thursday!!!

Long term I am looking for a class or course or something to do for winter. Have found a cookery course for Jan on but would like to find something else too maybe as otherwise i will just sit in at night and eat!!! Going to dedicate a night a week to surveys etc as the extra cash will still be handy for Xmas and will start soon on Memory Girls challenges. They are great and she is so positive. Am generally very positive and cheery anyway but have decided to really focus on this as it's definitely infectious. Am not a naval gaving type, am too much a West of Scotland girl to do that but it has been interesting to have a think about stuff.

On the subject of stuff, my friend who stayed last night commented on why I didn't have much stuff around in the flat. Told her I didn't need it as my memories are all in my head and stuff is just that. Also told her that I clear out very regularly. Need to do more actually and move my summer stiff to under the bed as it's freezing up here now!

Am working on creating a capsule wardrobe (Thanks Hypno) and looking the way I have always wanted to ie smart and chic. I finally have the cash to buy some clothes so am going to get boots and some tops this month. October is my bday month and Mum and Dad have volunteered to buy my Winter coat. I have seen one in M and S that I love so I'm excited about that.

My gay friend is coming over so I'll away. Off Sunday so will spend more time on here then XXX

Morning all, well it's payday and just got my first full wage in the new job so doing a budget as we speak. Think I will get an online shop in at the weekend to keep costs down there as my grocery budget is still small but my spends budget thankfully is up. I'm so excited!!!

Thanks hon, it's been a long time coming!!!

Bought the towels so the spa bathroom is now done and got beautiful bedding in Primarni too so bedroom is lovely.

Bought a new work outfit and also some undies so all good.

Off to HO today with work and then off Friday so am meeting the girlies from my old work on Thursday night. Be great to see them and have a cocktail or 3. NOT joining the gym after all this month as am away too much with work and not enough cash for freezer but the cupboards are full and the place looks good. Passport still to buy which is a bit annoying but heigh ho.

This is my bday month so got some fun planned in for that and all going in the right direction. Oh also a very basic website with no pics is now done (as my homepage) so i'm one step closer to that too. Onwards and upwards. X
