Hey, glad to see that all is whizzing along well for you at the moment. I'm keen to hear more about your capsule wardrobe, I might just make that one of my projects for next year ... just need to get to a happy size & stick to it first :)

Been rubbish at posting lately but back again.

Had a lovely birthday, spent time with different friends and it is still going on as for various reasons I still have some pressies winging their way to me!!! I love that.

Been spending lots of time on MG's thread and have met the lady herself and am going to be helping her with styling for getting back into work. So much positivity on there and I'm loving it.

Moneywise things are going well. The extra cash has been amazing and I am managing to stretch it very well. Keeping to a tight food budget and just enjoying life with the rest of it. Have replaced all my old tatty clothes with new ones and Lula my capsule wardrobe is nearly there.

Have followed Gok's advice and looked at the 24 things I would need for my lifestyle. Have now got nearly all of them. Just need a few casualish bits I think (I'm not great at casual, on my bodytype it just looks scruffy!) and I'm done. Flat is looking nice, have ordered new specs as my prescription has changed again and have done my November budget with all my Xmas shopping in as not a fan of shopping in December! Will no doubt end up doing my bro's as well so need to get organised and got Mum her first gift already.

Need to get into cooking again so got Nigella's lovley book with some bday money and also a baking book as Mum and Dad gave me some stuff for baking as well as my coats for my bday (v generous I know). Planning lots of nights in cooking for friends for Winter as great for catching up and cheap! Going for Sunday dinner at a friends today to get us started. He's doing duck for us.

Work is still going well, loads to do though! Busy week this week coming with a dinner with a friend out, a dinner with a friend in, meeting Mum at a craft fair and someone's leaving do at work. Paid on Friday and starting to save some as a back up fund from this month on.

Hope all are well and happy XXX

    Oh no :o I missed it :(

So sorry hon, but glad you had a lovely time & really pleased to hear about your new wardrobe, coats, cash & life generally being great :j.

I too love Nigella - she looks fab, is very laid back & refuses to make things hard just for the sake of it. Which book did you get ?

    xx

Thanks lovey. I got 'Kitchen'. Love it and using it already.

Well....with the capsule wardrobe nearly done I had turned my attention to my make up bag. Had lots of stuff that was running out and some really ancient bits that I was carting around...then I recieved a belated bday cheque from my bros godmother which has let me treat myslef to some Clinique stuff. SUCH a big deal for me as when I was a total shopaholic I had all of this but nae cash to pay for it and now I am starting to buy bits when I can afford it again so a real treat. Bought foundation and lippie the other day. Yesterday I recieved a parcel from my lovely sis in Australia with Nars (whoop whoop) and Stila (whoop whoop) bits in, including blush and eyeshadow. Think this is the universes way of telling me to sort out my make up next, don't you?

Hey all, Doing MG's 50 day challenge so here are my goals:

    1. Get all my Xmas shopping done by 1st Dec so I can enjoy all the social stuff in December with the money in that budget/time to spare I will have. (I usually near enough do this as I hate having to go into other peoples mental shops in December on my days off from my own mental shop but need to be sure it's ALL done) May have to do my bros in Dec but that's another story.
    2. Cook/Bake more fab stuff from my cookbooks for myself and friends and get out of food rut.
    3. Decide whether to gym or swim and do one of them three times a week. (This is going to be a real challenge as I love my sofa but need to shift myself)
    4. Establish a Glasgow branch of the matrix and meet them at least twice in the time limit (Any takers?)
    5. Do something for my business every day.

Bought a swimsuit today as have decided to swim and just about to email my first client (MG!) re business!

Got a urine infection and mastitis and feeling bla so I'm in bed with a brew. Be fine tomorrow X
