Thanks my love! Not a new shop Lula (thank God!) but will be mine as of next Mon so very excited. Just been and bought food so will report back on spends later. My freezer plays up and I can't trust it with fish so if i buy it I have to basically use it up which does mean that there's always a bit of repetition to my menus but so long as it's fairly healthy and cheap then tis ok.

Need to clean today before the girls come round so on the list is:

    Do dishes DONE
Clean hob DONE - but needs more effort!
Throw out old bedding (too minging to recycle!) DONE
    Take bins out DONE
    Recycling Out DONE
Charity bag to cahrity shop DONE
    More wardrobe sorting DONE
Sort under bed and hoover bedroom DONE
    Clean manky bathroom DONE
Hoover and dust living room DONE
    Meal plan for week DONE
    List spends DONE
    Sort Grocery money out DONE
    Clean Fridge DONE

Quite a bit there so loud tunes on and better get going!

    X

Go me! Enjoying a cider now before the girlies come. You could, if you so wished, eat your dinner from my floors!

Only spent £9.84 on the weeks groceries too so let's see how that lasts!

    Okay I'll get my receipts

I bought a reduced quiche that will do me for 1 lunch, I also bought Aldi £1.99 prawns that will do me for two dinners plus spaghetti hoops, cous cous, tomaotoes and mushrooms (to roast and have with the cous cous) and 2 tins of chopped toms that will do me a few meals with the cous cous. I also have some soup and veg chilli in so I'll be well fed!

Hi all, well the new job is going grand. Had my bro round for tea tonight. It was fab to see him but got in two minutes before him and was in work till 11pm last night stocktaking so just had pizza and garlic bread, Head is a bit battered from all the info so going to have an early night tonight and a chill night tomorrow and then I'm out with the work mates on Fri to say goodbye to the current manager who's away on mat leave for a year.

Babysitting for my friend at the weekend and then staying over and having dinner at hers on Saturday night. her wee one is lovely and she's a fab cook so it will be fab to see them. XXX

Thanks all. Well survived the 1st day as Manager without the shop burning down. Did break a folder but that's quite good for me! Shop needs some serious cleaning, tidying and organising but it will take time and I need to be patient and not attempt to do it all at once. Bought a nice new set of undies today which was good. Have thrown out all my old bras and am building up a new collection of stuff from work. Want to be the sort of girl who only ever wears matching sets but there's a bit of Primarni in my knicker drawer yet!

Got a date tomorrow with a cute but homely guy. He lives with his folks and 'wanted to travel but didn't' which makes me wonder about his balls (metaphorically, not literally!) but he is cute in his pic. He also thinks that there's probably something wrong with me as I said I don't do the boyfriend thing. I replied that while trips to B and Q, joint accounts and Friday nights in with a takeaway followed by no/routine sex look riveting, I'll stick to my Sex and the City lifestyle thanks!!! We had a spirited debate and I am quite looking forward to the meeting but I do think he may chicken out as he's probably really looking for someone to iron his pants.

Money wise things are good. Old job short payed me but new wage is much better so have bought some bits for work and broken the rest into weeks as usual. Think Scottish Power owe me a bit so will call them tomorrow and hopefully get a cheque from them to add to the funds. Treating the mate who took me for my op way back to some theatre tickets for a show that's on at the end of the month so need to get that booked. Not cheap but fab to be able to do it.

Grocery spend is still okay as have a lot in and am down at head office for a few days next week.

Off to bed with my book now X
