Right, well I realised this morning that there's not a lot on here about money so here's where I'm at.

Had a very fancy lunch out yesterday and lots happening this month so it's now 9 days to payday and I have
    £28 in my purse
    £2.77 in the bank
    £25.13 in my groceries purse
£5.00 in Nectar points to spend (my card is linked to Mum and Dads and I forgot that they had started shopping at Sainsbury's - bonus)
    £86 in my Xmas fund

So plenty to be going on with. Haven't spent much at all of my food budget this month as I had so much in my storecupboard so can use that for other stuff if need be.

Having friends for dinner/drinks tonight but this should be quite cheap with my vouchers and them bringing a bottle. Got the main ingredients in anyway. Away to meal plan for the rest of the time and be back to report more later. X

Don't need to buy much food in at all. Think I can probably use my vouchers and spend about £7 of my grocery budget and be fine. This will let me have a bit extra for socialising. Just done Decembers budget and it's all okay. Have budgeted for my spray tan and haircut (as well as all the essentials!) and still got £100 a week for spends which is ace. SUCH a busy month though.

Done a bit of housework already but need to hoover and give the bathroom a once over before my friend comes over. Also need to go and get some food/wine in.

Back to work tomorrow. Had a lovely week off. Mum is very well and slow cooking like a maniac! Will iron today so I have that under control for going back to work. Off Tuesday and plan to get the Xmas shopping done then. Know what I'm getting anyway. X

Well I'm nearly there on the Xmas shopping front. :j
Just a few smellies to get for bro, something else for Dad (no idea) and something to add to my secret Santa. Also need to get bro's BF a voucher but that's dead easy (and I could maybe do with Lightspeed if I actually did them instead of thinking 'Oh another Lightspeed survey' and ignoring it :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Doing well with Grocery budget stuff (spent £44.28) and still got a few pounds in my purse til the end of the month. About £12 to be precise and not out this weekend as I'm working through.

Done naff all of my excercise challenge and trousers are starting to feel snug. Bit worried as I'm out 3 nights next week and probably have people round 2 nights. Great fun but I could be fat as a house by the end of it. Soo not up for going out and eating salad but may just try not to eat pizza all three times as I would like to. Other option is to go swimming a few mornings/not eat junk the rest of the time so we'll see!!!! At least it will save on the grocery budget as I wont be in the house.

Thinking about how I can keep the momentum up next year and what would help me to saty on track....I feel a challenge coming on but not sure what.

Have been focusing on moisturising this week and thank God my skin looks better. It was flaky and horrid last week. Loving my hot cloth but don't worry it's No 7 not Eve Lom. If I win the lottery you ladies will be the first to know. :)

Loving MG's thread, especially today's chats re contraception, hairy ladies and children or otherwise.

Will do a list in the morning for tomorrows jobs as I'm off and need to crack on with some stuff. On the other hand if it's too cold I may just lie along the couch and [STRIKE]fester[/STRIKE] plan things. X

Ahem lady - there will be no festering tomorrow, snug trousers means action is required.

I do admire your swimming plans tho. I cant think of anything worse than having to go out in the freezing cold & then undressing before plunging into a bleachy bath with lots of strangers.

I love swimming, just in open air pools in hot countries ;)

Very impressed with your shopping too - I remember you saying ages ago that you planned to get it all done so you could socialise in december, well done :).

Yum to eggs - I've just hard boiled a couple that were best before yesterday - sure they'll be fine but I did chuck out the bacon as it looked a bit wrong.

Good list, I've been on a break for a bit but about to get back on the case.

    bye for now
