Hi all,
Feeling a bit wobbly re money yet again and sick of being skint but still got a few pounds left til payday and onwards and upwards I go. Want to buy a bit for the flat this month and got a big night out coming up but will plod on with the payments and all the bits.
Hope all are well X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Hello,
you're doing so well, I completely fell off the wagon this month
but do have a gorgeous new room to play in
.
We'll get there, just keep going & one day it will all be over :j0 -
Hey all,
Well I'm off work for a few days now and off to see a man for a wee night in a hotel tomorrow. Met him out and about last week and had a few phone chats since. He lives in London and happens to be up for work nearish to me this week so we're meeting up. Could do with adding another one to my collection and him not living up here suits fine as it means I wont be tripping over him all the time!
Not overpaying anything this month when I get paid so I can get a few cushions and bits for the flat and enjoy my night out on Sat and SATC 2 on Sunday then will see if I have anything left on a weekly basis to chuck at the debt. Feeling unsettled in flat but have realised it's just that I want 2 new cream cushions from Primarni and a wee throw costing no more than £20 all in, so that's much cheaper than moving!
After months of agony Mum is finally going in for her op on Sunday so I am over the moon!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Hey Sweetie,
glad to hear that you've had some fun & even more so that your lovely Mum is due to have her op soon, will be thinking of her
A few new cheap home accessories can really cheer you up when you walk into a room. I've been so so naughty with money that I am determined to be totally frugal for the next 2 months ... wish me luck.0 -
Thanks love. Night out was lovely. Really nice guy and what a laugh!
Spent the £20 on the flat this morning and also spent £15 on a haircut and £11.20 on some waxy stuff for my hair and £7.60 on a pint for me and my mate.
Just need to buy undies for under my lovely dress for Sat, put a fiver in for my mates whipround and buy some new work stuff tomorrow and that should do. Sat should be fairly cheap I hope as booked a cheap bar but Sunday I'll be paying £6.70 for my cinema ticket, £10 for dinner with a voucher and god knows what on drinks!!! After that little lot I will have no choice but to be frugal for the rest of the month! X'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Yep I'm skint!
Had an AMAZING weekend though with my night out and then SATC. Also saw an FWB on Monday so am now skint and rather tired. Poor Mum has STILL not had her op as there was a problem with infection at the hospital so think that should be next week. Met her and Dad today and had a lovely day with them and got a meal with the girls tomorrow. :j
Not spent much of my grocery budget which is good but my social life is just crippling me! Need a life though and no point in being on the planet if I'm not going to have fun and see friends. AAAAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Hey sweetie,
sorry to hear your Mums' op has been delayed ... positive vibes that it happens soon.
I'm all for having a life ( & fab stuff to wear while it progresses

I'm skint! Meal and drinks were such fun though and I know that I am so lucky to have colleagues who I really like. Woke up at 5.15 with the contacts still in and my clutch bag and jacket in bed with me!!!!
Will have to be very careful for the rest of the month though now. Working through the weekend but FWB from down South is up on Monday night which is a treat!'The road to a friends house is never long'0 -
Yay for a fab night out

Did you think your eyesight was cured when you woke up :rotfl:0
