Jack's_Dad wrote:I have noticed a "bulk purchase" notice in our local store which limits you to 6 items and is displayed behind the CS desk.
My problem wasn't really to do with a bulk purchase policy. There is a tiny sign behind the CS desk, which I couldn't read properly, but it was specifically to do with R&R and overcharging on products. It limited full refunds to only three items and the difference on the remainder. It was a typed up laminated sign with a biro written '3' on it
The only notice of bulk buy I've seen in Tesco's Reading is in the bread section where I think you're limited to five loaves of bread!0 -
The 'bulk buy policy' which only seems to apply to R&R in some stores is very naughty. If the store lets you buy more than 6 of any item then it should also be prepared to give you R&R on the lot. Not that I would argue the toss for long, I would just get the R&R on the 6 items and ask for a refund on the remainder (not that I've ever bought more than 6 of an item, you understand!).I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!0

DVD Collateral sticker £6.97, SEL and charged £7.97. Could have been even better as these DVDs are on buy 2 get one free. I also got pS2 game The Punisher which was stickered £13.97, but SEL and charged £9.99
Never mind.
I thought that the buy 2 get the 3rd free included most old PS2 games as well? You could have got something else for free.

xanderd wrote:found the sudoku GBA game stickered at £14.xx and til scanned £19.99. The funny thing is the SA looked at the sticker then asked me "This is £19.99 ok?"! I couldnt beleive it!
At CS, the lady said she had to inform the right person when any mis price was foud, then phoned up a manager who came down to CS to overlook the R+R! I also was asked for my name and adress "to prove they had actually given me a refund" although the name and address slip didnt have any item description on it, and the refund receipts are proof anyway! I gave in but next time I wont give it.
I too found the sudoku game just now at £14.95 and scanned at £19.99. Bought it and my bloody connect card rejected again (see post 432) and SA took me to CS desk to sort it out and the CS girl spotted the overprice on the box comparing it to the receipt, amended the price and approved my card, called over to SA and asked her to remove all Sudoku from sale and change the stickers and then said "luckilly for us I spotted the overprice before the card authorisation came through and charged this gentleman the correct price".
Leaving me to make out as if I was pleased that I didn't get overcharged and thanking her for saving me a fiver. Didn't dare look her in the face cos' I didn't want to see her smugness.
What's the return policy on games? Stuck with a game that cost me £15.00.
Some of you will be laughing at me now but, hey,..... you lose some, you lose some, that's my policy!!!
Will have to try doubly hard tomorrow.

Hi. What store was this?0 -
Was in the Basingstoke branch just now, going for my first elusive R & R, thought I was onto the pay dirt when I saw a Flat screen computer package, with printer and the works, price was at £429.97 with an offer end date of 8/8/06, arkwardly lifted the heavy box to the price check scanner round the corner, and found it was still scanning at the £429.97. Lost interest and my 6 year old was bored so thought it best given for today.:think:0

McDonag, I've had this problem with games, and have taken them back the day after with no problems at all. Just said that they were the wrong ones, and they gave me my money back no problem at all.0

I had my eye on the iqon laptop package at £499, offer ended 2 days ago. I went back and it was still scanning at correct price. Looks like they're extending the offer.
Anyone know when the next electrical offers expire?0
