lets say u buy a £300 tv or something and its £300.97 it scans at would this still apply ? is there a limit ? so the tv would be totally free ? surely there must be a catch.... ??

If the sel indicates 300.97 and the item scans at 300.99 then you have an r&r there is no upper limit and no exclusions within the store despite what you may occasionally be told by cs staff. So the answer to your question is Yes.

Do you have the same R&R rights if you order online, have your shopping delivered and then the price changes?

Not that I have noticed but you do get an itemised list at point of order and another one when delivered. It would be very easy to check for any misprices.

No you don't get it for Tesco.com

Also, the price on your original email is a guide only, and the price you pay is the current store price on the day of delivery.

    Thanks for the pointers.

I willing to be proved wrong but I'm 99% sure that Tesco CCTV does not have a recording capability.

    Over to you Tesco Dudes!

Dude Hi I've followed this thred for nearly a year now and had some very useful tips and given the odd one or two as well!! I've just had to re-register for some strange reason - however i have no "inside knowledge" of Tesco CCTV but would find it very strange if they could not provide the police with any evidence of suspected shoplifting or staff pilfering etc.
It may be that some older stores have no recording facilities but new stores -and i mean in the last 10 to 15 years - will most likely have and even then would expect the older stores to be brought up to date.

But I can only speak from my experiance and my knowledge of my own workplace where by recordings are kept for one month unless needed and any store can be viewed from head office but when i was barred they spoke about looking at the CCTV to check that it was me in the Black car that was in two days ago etc etc but they could of been bluffing..........

I got followed out of one tesco by a security guard who then rather ludicrously pretended to write the reg number of my car on his hand. The fact that he was doing this with his finger made the whole experience rather bizarre and very funny. Not to mention it was a repair shop loan car I was driving at the time. I suspect he wasn't exactly the sharpest tool in the box...
I spelt my username wrongly on purpose, by the way!

If he tried to use his finger as a pencil, then this couldn't have been the sharpest pencil in the pencil case:rotfl:
