  • I got a grab bag last year and I loved it.

Today I was in the Glasgow Buchanan St one, downstairs they had the grab bags which had one gift set inside, around 3 ballistics and soap. Upstairs with all the skincare they had grab bags or you could choose any gift set from the shelves near the till. The SA told me the best value ones, I chose a bath one, the tin full of the ballistics which would normally cost £24, really happy with that. I spent just over £20 to get my freebie and am trying out the skincare which I've never tried out before. Never managed to get any free samples any time I've been in but the SA was really friendly and said if the moisturiser wasn't suitable they have a really good returns policy so could change it if it didn't suit my skin.

Loving my bath ballistics...will try and half them to make them last!!!!
  • Hi,
Have heard from a good authority (customer care at lush )
that the usual Grabbit bag offer that happens at the end of jan/ beginning of feb is NOT happening this year as it was combined with the free gift offer!

I did order quite a bit of (retro) stuff online so qualified for the £10 of free stuff. Very curious to see what it's going to be. In my order I already have 2 soaps and those will last me forever, so if the free stuff is indeed soap, I'll just give it away :D

I have now received my online order. The order originally came to £30.55 (ie just enough to qualify for the £10 of free stuff) but I got an email from Lush a couple of days ago to inform me that one of the items on my order was no longer available/discontinued. Because of this, the order only came to £27.60 but Lush still sent me the Free Stuff :T :T

The Free Stuff: 3 soaps (Angels Delight, Porridge, Snowcake) and 4 Ballistics (Think Pink, Honey Bee, Avobath, and Big Blue). Value of the free stuff is just over £20. The FS was packed in a separate box labelled "£10" so I assume it's the same box that gets sent out to everyone who qualifies for the £10 of Free Stuff. I'll definitely use the ballistics and the Snowcake soap (I like the smell).

Hope this is useful to anyone who was thinking of ordering online.
  • Just brought £20 worth of lush products to get my grab bag. Dont think i got my moneys worth unlike last year where i got 10 items for £10. This year i only got 6 items in my bag which consisted of a seasons greeting gift n 2 bubble bars.

anyone know how much the seasons greeting gift was?

    Season's Greetings was £14.50.
Which bubble bars did you get? Ruby Red Slippers was £3.50, Christmas Eve and Candy Cane were £2.50 each. So any 2 of those plus the Season's Greetings then your bag would have been worth about £20 :)

Happy Hippy is lovely btw :D

The problem with getting gift boxes inside this years grab bags is that you don't get £14.50 worth of lush products in a £14.50 box, they add the packaging costs onto the price of the individual items, unlike other brands where the gift set is better value.

I popped into the Covent Garden store today, and spent about £26. It's ages since i've been in, and gots some stuff i've wanted to try for ages, and really needed.

I got a grab bag, which was ok, but not as good as some others. I'm really happy though as it's a great freebie, and stuff i'll def use. I got 4 ballistics and 2 bubble bars (I think :)) and a free face mask as a bonus from the really lovely girl at the till.

TBH, the staff are so lovely and helpful i'd buy anyway - they showed me loads of stuff, gave great advice, and even advised buying smaller bottles to save money unless i was really sure i would use everything in a bigger bottle/pack.

    Great shop.
