Thanks Bolton Angel I will pop into town this weekend (weather permitting) and see what I find.
Starjade,I was thinking the same thing last night. I totted up the value of individual items and it came into just under £100.00 as the prices have gone up. I don't particularly want the hatbox but I thought it would be a good way to try out some stuff I don't normally buy. I'll go on the website later and see what I would buy with £100.00 instead of the hat box.0 -
I wasn't going to go this year, got a Think Pink hatbox and another flowery hatbox in Cardiff last year but had to be there at eight in the morning on Boxing day for that. This year I thought I'd have a quiet one. But since OH lives in Solihull thought it was still worth having a look.
Yeay my Best Beloved went to his local Lush in Solihull for me today (I am in Aberystwyth) and got me moisturiser and face mask and shampoo, and for free I got a bottle of Vanillary perfume! Aces! Three cheers for the OH
They've still got gift boxes in there, and grab bags BTW.
To Savenshop: they should do you more than one free gift if you spend £90. It's one per £20 spent. Or it was when I went last year, didn't check this year as I had very little to spend!POO - TEE - WEET

I used mine with no problem!0 -
Has anyone been into Nottingham or Leicester Lush in the last few days? Trying to decide which one would be my best bet tomorrow, snow permitting. The Nottingham grab bag was great last year but the Leicester one was mostly soap which puts me off.
I went into the nottingham one on sunday and all they had left was the pink gift boxes (£9.95) and smaller ones (£6ish), or you could choose a big chunk of xmas soap or some dusting powder or something, so not much left, no grab bags either.0 -
I went to meadowhall and they only had a few small gift boxes left i asked the assistant what the offer was and she showed me the small boxes if i spent £20 i asked if they had any grab bags and she paused then said um i think there might be a couple left somewhere, i then asked what type of things were in them and she said xmas things ( very helpful not ) I decided to leave it as i don't use the soap and last year i ended up with mainly that. In fact she seemed quite rude which put me off straight away.0

i wish i had waited now and gone in this store, braehead must just be stingy!! i may actually try pop into buchanan street and see what they have left and may have to spend another £20:rotfl:
Buchanan Street branch is easier for me to get to than Braehead, I hardly ever go over there unless I'm having a trip to Ikea. I think you can never tell where you are going to get the best freebies with Lush, just depends. Last year the Sauchiehall St branch seemed to be way more generous with their grab bags (judging by the posts on here) but I'd got mine from Buchanan St, it wasn't bad though.
The Buchanan St branch was really busy when I was in on Monday but they seemed to have plenty of boxes to have as your free gift upstairs. If you can spare another £20 then it might be worth a look, no sign of any hatboxes, probably long gone! My tin had 9 bath ballistics in it, going to try and cut them in half and make them last longer. BTW the moisturiser I bought to try out is really doing the business, never tried their skincare so i'm impressed. Normally I just buy bath stuff and never venture upstairs!!0 -

I was reading a post about someone not using last year's soap (sorry, I've forgotten who posted..)
I'm the same and wondered what else I could do with the soap as we're just not getting through it fast enough! Argh!April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

Soap in the laundry will scent your clothing. Grate it up and put it in a sock or something.
