Someone mentioned earlier in the thread that they'd spotted someone stealing vouchers out of the gift boxes

Hi, is the 10 items for £10 something they do every year at the end of the sale?

I've never ever tried Lush before. I haven't been tempted in their sale yet as I only have a shower at home and lots of people here post about getting lots of bath bombs which would be of no use to me!

It was the grab bags from last year, i got 2 £5 grab bags with £15 worth of stuff in each (I think it was £15, might have been £10 worths). Anyway the random stuff i got were mainly bath both, soaps and jellies. When i counted them it was 10 items all together for £10.

This year i only got 6 items in my grab bag however i did buy 7 items for my £20 spend, would have been more but i was in a rush and mainly left with chunks of soaps (wish i had made a list first).

For anyone trying to use the 10% vouchers from previous gift boxes, you may have to spend just over £22 so when the discount is applied you've still £20.
    hope that makes sense.

That's horrible =/ The shop assistant told me she had started moving the secret gift bags behind the counter because people kept taking stuff from the shelves and trying to sneak it into the free bags. Really dumb that is.

I really really really want the Lush Legends gift. It's expensive, I know, but i missed out on the Soap&Glory hatbox, I missed out on Boots 50% off sale (order disappearred in cyberspace) so I'm thinking of treating myself

    But...
...is this the best time to buy or will a better offer be on say round valentine time? I have a 10% off voucher so that will bring the price down to about £90.00.
...will I still get the free grab bags too?
...and which is the best Lush store to go to in Manchester? I went to the one in Trafford centre last week for a look around but didn't see much and all the soaps smelt and looked a bit stale.
    TIA
  • If you ask really nicely they might make up a grab bag for you, they did for me. I was in there over an hour, and got some freebies out of it too!

When i spoke to lush trafford ctr they said they had very little left....this may have changed though.
I personally like the Lush opposite M&S (market st?) in Manchester.

Last year I bought the legends box around this time and chose 5 gifts to give as presents throughout the year. The gifts were better last year though as I didn't get a free box worth less than £25.
I went through the legends box yesterday and I still have some of the creams left as I don't really use them too much so I'm glad I did it.
Sadly i don't have enough ££££s this time or I'd do it again. :(

Also, if you are spending that much be cheeky and ask for freebies!
Lead me not into temptation, I can find the way myself.

wins - peroni bottle opener, peroni bowl, peroni coastersx2 and a vodkat cocktail kit,
would love to win something 'proper'!!

I doubt there will be any grab bags then in February. Occasionally stores do their own offers such as buy £xx worth of items and they will hold a lucky dip or a small grab bags so it might be worth asking them.

About the Lush Legends, I think its only worth it if you'd really want the hatbox ;) I believe some Lush Forumers were counting the total value of items inside, and you were paying about £10-15 for the box itself. Right now Lush prices have gone up, so maybe you'll be paying slightly less for the box? Its better to work out if you really want the items inside or the pretty golden box :rotfl:
