LUSH sale update

my very last lush trip... especially as i'd started the no more toiletries buying challenge, oh dear. couldn't resist going back for one more trip, just to see if they had anything left - got the last grab bag cos i wanted to stock up on shower gels anyway tbh (i have a lot of bath stuff left from the sale but not so much shower stuff, and i want to take it all to uni where i only have a shower) and i also decided to try a face mask. spent ages wandering round looking at stuff and am quite happy with what i got (tramp shower gel, a big flying fox shower gel, avobath and the sacred truth). in my gift bag i got two chunks of father frost soap, a fever massage bar, and a snow fairy gift box... it's not brilliant but it's free and i wanted the other stuff anyway
tbh i wouldn't mind trying snow fairy out as although i really hate sugary sweet smells, it might be worth trying. and if not it'll do for a january birthday

I went into my local Lush yesterday. They still had lots of the Xmas boxes (under £15 ones) and about 15 grab bags. I took a grab bag and got loads of stuff!! 3 bubble bath slices, 3 bath bombs, a bath melt, a soap and a small Xmas gift box worth £6.50ish. My Nan couldn't believe it when I showed her all my free stuff.0

I popped into the Southampton Lush yesterday as I made a trip to the nearby Ikea and was a bit diappointed. They only had three different Christmas boxes left so I opted for my first lucky dip bag. When I got it home I realised that there was only £14 worth of stuff in there.
So I went into the Basingstoke Lush, which is my usual one. The manager was lovely and added more items up to the value of £30 altogether. She also gave me some samples. She showed me a bag that she had just made up that had a small Christmas giftbox and 9 bath bombs. So I spent another £20 and got that one as well!
The Basingstoke store has LOTS of boxes left including some of the Stardust, Christmas Star and the bath bomb tin. They've also still got all their Christmas bath bombs out as they've got so many. Their sales were really hampered by the snow the week before Christmas. I wouldn't be surprised if they did end up doing some grab bags otherwise they will still have it all come next Christmas!0 -
I went to the Leeds store today and they have got loads of boxes left. Also a few bags behind the till (which they said were all the same).
In my bag I got a big bottle of snow fairy, a small snow fairy gift box, a small 'you shall go to the ball' box, snow fairy solid perfume and 2 bubble bars
There were quite few of the big xmas box sets but they weren't included0 -

she then spent another £20 and she chose the you're star and they gave her the grab bag as an extra as they were closing for the day and said might aswell get rid of everything today
Blimey, she was lucky!
I love the think Pink Hatbox. I've got the remains of one on top of my wardrobe and get it down ever once in a while for a sniffApril 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
I went to Exeter yesterday and was quite disappointed with the selection available, no grab bags and the highest value box was the Snow Fairy at £9.50. I spent £43 and got a Snow Fairy and a You Shall go to the Ball set.
Compared to other stores it seemed quite stingy!0 -

Sorry to hear you weren't happy with your freebies, but I think it can depend very much onthe stock the store has available and if it's already been wiped clean by us MSE'ers :rotfl:April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -
Hey Guys....
Can I ask if this stuff is any good? I've heard alot about Lush, but never tried it. I should be staying away as I'm trying to do the no more toiletries challenge, but always good to see whats out there, and what stuff is nice.:hello:No more toiletries challenge :T

I went to the store in Bromley yesterday. Bought £23 of stuff and got £19.80 worth of stuff free.
There were only 3 grab bags left and I could kind of see what was in them but not really, one looked fuller than the other so I picked them both up and one was considerably heavier, so I picked the other one up and that was lighter too. Needless to say I got the heavier one. Hate to think what was (or rather wasn't) in those two left.0 -
I went to the Liverpool store yesterday, they only had the small £7 christmas gifts left, so I opted for a goody bag. My bag contained one of the £7 christmas gifts, a good karma gift, a christmas pud bath ballistic, and a strawberry santa shower jelly. Am very pleased with my haul - spent £22 and got £20 of products free!
I'm at work, and just remembered that lush put 10% off vouchers in their gift boxes, can't wait to get home and check mine. Do they put them in christmas gift boxes too?0
