I've been reading the last few pages of this thread and it's made me want to try some lush goodies out but I don't know where to start, the website is overwhelming and I don't want to go in store and look completely lost!
So, can anyone recommend something nice? Also, what is this 'made before a certain date' thing all about? and I've gathered that if I spend £20 instore, I get a goody bag of some sort?
Thanks
I love "angels on bare skin" cleanser, its amazing, somehow it degreases, exfoliates and stops me getting spots and moisturises and smooths all in one.
Also I think "Big" shampoo is great at making your hair really shiny and volumised and soft.
But like everyone else has said if you just explain to any of the assistants that you're unsure of what to try, I'm sure they'll help you, they're usually really freindly and go out of their way to explain stuff and show you how to use everything. I would say maybe for your £20 try and get a mix of things like maybe a shampoo bar, a cleanser, a bubble bar or bath bomb and a shower gel. But the best advice is to go down there and just see what you're drawn to, you're bound to find things you love the smell of.Started Comping 25th September 2013.

I tried really hard to like this cleanser........ but I couldn't! It left my skin feeling horrible (can't even describe it). It is only the second lush product which I don't like. The other being the chocolate santas0 -
i went to lush at braehead today and we spent £20 on bubble bars and bath bombs and the offerings for the freebies was very poor!!! we were offered the snow fairy box worth £9.95 or a grab bag but i had just seen her do a grab bag and it was very poor indeed what they put in!! we ended up with the gift box... its still a good freebie as we were spending the £20 anyway but still was a little let downwould love to win an ipad!

Been back again today and bought some shower cream, Geo Fizz, Comforter and Avobath and got one of the grab bags free. It had the Snow Fairy gift box in it, a candy came, two snowman bath bombs, a little white bath bomb, ruby red, the star bath melt and a couple of other bath bombs but wasn't sure what they were. Definitaly better value than the ones just after Christmas :-) Have enough stuff to keep me going well through the winter months now :-)

Really? How did it make your skin feel? It must be dependant on skin type, I have combination skin and have found its the only thing that addresses the dryness and oiliness at the same time.
Obviously its difficult to recommend lush stuff as it all depends on skin/hair types and what kind of smells you like etc.Started Comping 25th September 2013.

It felt like it was still on my skin, even after loads of washing it off. I normally use regenerist or biore thermal scrubs and love the way my skin feels after.0 -

I really like the bubble bars, bath ballistics, soaps, shower jellies and buttercreams. I've tried the shampoo bars before which i liked, but found they dried my hair out after a while and none of the conditioners worked for me at all but then my hair is very dry at the moment. I also tried one of the deodorants earlier this year, but had a bad reaction to it unfortunately:( For £20 you can get a good selection of items to try, once you're in the store you'll find yourself drawn to certain things that you like the smell of anyway so just go with the flow.:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -
Managed to get a grab bag today but was a little disappointed, I asked if they had a lot of soap in them (I dont use the soaps) and was told one piece and the rest was a mixture inc a shower gel. It had two huge pieces of soap and 4 small bathbombs, no shower gel or other treat.
It would have been brill if they did the bags online like they did two years ago as there were huge amounts in them.0 -

:jpretty sure thats over £20For thousands of people this Christmas, their must-have gift is far more vital than the latest gadget or toy – it’s blood. Please don’t let the festivities and cold weather prevent you from giving them the ultimate gift… give blood.0
