Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
Mine is too. I got loads of bath bombs this time so the hat box is great for storing them.
I also one of their face creams & cant believe how good it is. I've never used their creams before & only bought 1 to put my total to the next 20 pound mark.
Its really good, doesnt have a horrible smell & isnt greasy.
Think I'll be buying it for the rest of the year

I use to use a Clarins face cream, but had a sample of one of the Lush ones in a Freshers pack and went straight to get one its so good - works wonders on my skin and miles cheaper than Clarins - very impressed! I love the roma toner - just not tried the cleansers yet as got some Liz Earle on the go.

That vanilla fragrance is really good - so long lasting - I love Karma but it fades on me quickly.

Does anyone know if there is anything left in the Lakeside store - grab bag or gift box wise? I might go there tomorrow or another shopping centre that doesn't have one.. just depends if the Lush at Lakeside is worth the visit?

    Thank you!

The online offer isn't quite so good. The details are on the LUSH website, but if you spend £30 you get £10 of free items, and if you spend £50 you recieve £20 of free items.

Thanks for that. I might just give in and trek to the shop!

Completely off topic, so apologies now, but does anyone know why i cant start a thread in the grabbit section? i write it out and press preview or submit and it just deletes everything i've written. Sorry again, i know this isnt the right place, but very new and no idea what i'm doing wrong!

just been to the coventry one this morning to buy bath bombs for my boys and some of the dream cream for them too as they both have seasonal eczema (thanks for the tip!) has anyone noticed the really creepy guy that works in there? he just trails you round the shop then randomly launches something under your nose or picks something nearby up and says have you seen this, its great? if i wasnt after the grab bag, i would've left and just ordered online.
got a fab grab bag tho as the gift boxes werent to my liking. i got 2 big soaps, 4 bubble bar slices, 2 bath ballistics and a 500ml snow fairy shower gel! very pleased- about £30 in value.
that'll keep the boys smelling nice for a while- had to return the favour seeing as they treated me to the soap and glory hatbox set!!!

If anyone is near the windsor branch, they have shelves of grab bags. About 40+ this morning so I spent £20 on vanishing cream as mine ran out and got a bag with a massage bar, angels delight soap, 100g snow fairy (although I must be one of the rare few who hates this!) 140g snow cake soap, good elf bubble bar and 7 toner tabs, so i'm happy as I needed the cream anyway and free stuff is a lovely bonus! :D
  • Ok, so after seeing my local lush store packed with customers I really want to see what all the hype is about. I walked past the store and it spelt gorgeous!

I've been reading the last few pages of this thread and it's made me want to try some lush goodies out but I don't know where to start, the website is overwhelming and I don't want to go in store and look completely lost!

So, can anyone recommend something nice? Also, what is this 'made before a certain date' thing all about? and I've gathered that if I spend £20 instore, I get a goody bag of some sort?

    Thanks

I felt a bit overwhelmed when I first went into one of their shops but the staff who work there are always really helpful so if you go into a store and feel a bit lost, they will help you out and possibly try different things on you etc! You could have a look on the website and see what takes your fancy too. It depends what you like really (if you have a shower or bath, or both.. I prefer the bath stuff over the shower gels) what smells you usually like (I prefer fruity over sweet smells)

At the moment, a lot of the stores (if they haven't sold out) are doing a spend £20 and get a goodie bag for free which has maybe some christmas bits in it, or gift sets :]

it really is a personal choice thing- they always have testers out on display shelves for you to smell and the staff are usually quite helpful so my advice would be to have a wander in and have a good sniff of anything you like the look of. my personal favourites are the shower gels and the solid deodorants. my eldest loves the bath bombs, he only usually uses half of one per bath as he has sensitive skin and is also worried about smelling too girly if he uses a whole one!
    just explore and enjoy!

The staff in LUSH are usually very helpful and freindly. Go in and have a chat to them, they will help you find what's right for you. It ready depends what type of scents you like.
The shampoo bars are amazing value, they last forever. I love their hair conditioners, like Veganese and Coulalin. They use natural ingredients such as Coconut milk, lemon and seaweed to soften your hair, rather than silicones.
The big bubble bar slices, Comforter and Blue Skies and great, as they do 3+ baths, and Happy Hippy showergel is fab.
