I totally agree - if a child isn't invited, then you make other arrangements which may involve not going. You don't call the couple lots of unpleasant names and send a revenge gift, and you don't take the kids on the assumption that their names were just left off the invitation.

    :rotfl::T

I'm making some plans... let's see if they come off.

I agree Susan and SS. I have been invited to a cousins wedding and kids wernt invited. Because my mum was going and Chris mum was already busy we didnt go, but I have no problem in people making a choice to have no kids. At my wedding, there was more kids than adults at the evening do though !!

Debating. Do I sell the loola and get a mura? I really hate it. Like, really, really can't stand it. Too used to my big 3 wheelers that just glide along.
Don't do anything until you've been and tried out the mura, Tara said its really heavy. I wouldn't buy any pram or buggy without giving it a whirl first now I'm an experienced pram pusher :)

I keep wondering when i should be expecting a period, is it true that bf'ing delays it?

I stopped bleeding completely when she was 2 weeks old, and it was v.light throughout - not how i remembered it being after DS
My FB ticker tells me Ed is 7mth 2wks and 2days and no sign of a period yet - totally MSE ;)

Think it also helped that we bought a Fisher Price Sooth & Glow Seahorse yesterday. Bought one for some friends before she was born & wanted one for her since but not got round to buying it. It plays 5 mins of soft music with a night light on it's belly & she loves it. We put her in crib wide awake last night with that & it took 4 times of pressing it but eventually she went to sleep with it all on her own (been taking lots of rocking & cuddles at nighttime recently).

Alex has one of these and he loves it. Put in on after a night feed, most of the time he is asleep before its finished, but sometimes it takes a few goes if he's wide awake.

How much was the seahorse? Amber loves lights but i only have a mobile and it doesn't last long so i get sick of winding it up, so i've been looking for something like that.

This is the Seahorse in Argos- Also comes in pink

I'm trying to find something to do when my contract ends that allows me to make some money, work flexibly enough to look after the monster, keeps me in my field and keeps me occupied.

i'm like mm on the cerazette. i;ve had no bleeding at all. (have done 2 pg tests so not pg) DR said yesterday that as i am fine on it, BP is ok he would do me a script for a year! so i now have enough to do me for another year!

its mentioned in the pack that some women have 'irregular bleeding'. guess you fall into this category MFD. depends on how much you can put up with whether or not you continue taking it or try another.

Hi stranger :) Elle was stalking you last night !!

    Hows things ??

    I know! I have been lurking! ;)
Things are good thanks. been busy concentrating on losing some weight, so been over on the slimming world thread a lot, trying to get new recipes and some encouragement from others doing it aswell! (5.5lb off in 2 weeks so far! :T)

I got a bit addicted to the thread and thought a little bit of time away would be good. I did come on and have a nosey at what was happening with everyone for a bit when i was on MSE though. wasnt online at all yesterday and havent caight up in a good few days though.

Baby related news = Christopher now has 2 teeth and is still not fussed on spoon feeds, nor anything I have gave him BLW wise! so im starting to worry a bit as he isnt overly fussed on his bottles either. he has gone down to taking 3-4 bottles a day compared to his 5-6!?? :(

Also, Katie has been going through a fussy food eatig phase - she is going to turn into mashed potato as it is all she has been eating the past week or so! turning me demnted! Although, I have took a supernanny approach to it the past couple days, so she successfully ate HM Steak& veg pie (with mash!) and carrot and parsnip and peas last night for dinner. Stew for lunch, and previous day pastie and HM wedges. so we are going in the right direction....!!!! :)

How is Jas and Dylan? xx
    Carla-Farla!! :)
