Ladybird- having a soak in the bath has to be the biggest Mummy luxury ever! I love to hand LO over to OH of an evening and read my book in the bath! How do you live without a shower though . I'm not awake till I've had a shower in the morning.
I'm just powering through some dooyoo reviews as I have some points on there that expire soon, apparently, and I don't want to lose them!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

. Thanks to my c-section I have no use for them, but happy to discretely pass them on to anyone who has (and is too embarrassed to buy such a thing in the shops).

sorry missed the red before. no actual made up milk.
I used to wash and sterilise 6 bottles then put the hot water and powder in, shake 'em up and stick them in the fridge, I think Glam cools hers in a sink of cold water before putting the fridge but I didn't
yes I do cos I make them with boiling water. not good when u shake & forget to put the lid on properly :cool:jillie1974 wrote: »K has just drained a 7ox bottle, first time in bout 2 weeks! looks tired after that so popping him in his cot

I talk to J all the time & in each bank I told him what bank it was, everytime I said bank he was laughing his head off! *confused*Afternoon all
Well Charly is now 13lb12 at 18 weeks - not had her weighed for 6 weeks and only gonna go every month from now on.
Sleep didn't go well last night, she woke almost every half hour until 12.30 when I gave up and brought her in with me. At 18 weeks, she isn't too young to do the pick up/put down thing is she? Leave her while she whinges and only pick up if she really cries/screams, don't speak to her and put her down as soon as she stops? Any advice if this is the way to go?
Hugs to all xxx
PS Want to try and post a pic - will see if I can sort it if she stays quiet in her swing.
Jam - I tried doing this a few times from around 12weeks. I got really impatient though so each attempt didnt last long. It was only just before his jabs last week that he would settle himself.
sami - yes it is the 12th, 12-2pm.
I'm not on any pill :shhh:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Does anyone else, who has had a c section, get af cramps along their scar? It's horrible.
I listed the loola on ad trader for £150, if it sells it sells and I've made a bomb, if it doesn't I can atleast say I tried. Might get used to it... I don't mind heavy prams, my twister is heavy but feels very light (till you lift it). Think its just that I don't like 4 wheelers. But see, I tried the loola in the shop and liked it, once on concrete its different. Fussy cow that I am, just goes to show, want want want and still not happy.
Do I got to asda or not?0 -
susan - my first period after J was born was horrendous. I bled through a pad, knickers & trousers everytime I stood up:oA very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

i would try some kind of sleeping training, whether it's pick up/put down; controlled crying/ gradual withdrawal, whatever suits you.
reason i say this is my LO is 10months and i am tackling the problem now as i can count on one had the amount of times she has slept for longer than 5 hours in one stretch.
i am doing a mixture as i know what is best for my LO and I and appreciate i may be working at it for some time, but i aim to get there.
i have made progress where initially at night she will go off on her own (i am still in the room either shushing her or patting her) and she will do a good stretch then, so i am needing to tackle the night wakings etc.
feel free to PM me or i am sure others that have had the same issues will have other suggestions.

I'm not getting AF yet, but I get abdominal cramps in the area of my scar, and earlier on I was sitting down and it was so bad I was almost folded over
Molly's bouncing away in her door bouncer, she's having a wonderful time but it keeps turning her so she's facing away from me and then she stops for a second and bounces back :rotfl:
GISI I've been doing a lot of dooyoo the last few days to try and get Amazon vouchers for one of these. I've decided that this will be Molly's birthday present, since I inadvertently bought her yet another birthday gift for when she's 3 *rollyeyes*Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
