just got back from picking up zoe and although she had a good day yesterday with her work she slipped alittle today so shes only allowed her camera back but still in her room at 5pm .. i started to really not know what to do with her and her work x

Once breastfeeding is well established you can go on any pill... It's only in the early days the combination of hormones can have an effect on supply...

Krystal I didn't know that. I had assumed the hormones had an effect on baby.

I look like a teenager at the mo - covered in spots. Bloody hormones. Added to that, I haven't brushed my hair today, or washed it since the weekend. Minging. (And the less said about the state of my legs and armpits the better...) Maybe I need that ugly picture Beanie! I have had 2 baths this week though. Luxury! I normally end up having a quick wash in the sink, as we don't have a shower, and baths take too much time. But now Izzy is going to bed with less fuss I'm taking some proper me time (well, me and mother and baby magazine anyway) for a soak

Some people it does and some people it doesn't. If you are breastfeeding, the earlier it comes back, the more likely you are to be having anovulatory cycles.

I used tampons - I couldn't find any information to say you shouldn't.

Those people sound childish themselves - maybe the children should have been invited instead of them. Alice's name wasn't on the first invitation but that was because she hadn't been born. (But we had been told she was invited - we didn't just assume.)

:eek: I didn't know the first period was supposed to be worse than usual - mine was totally pain free which was a great relief as mine used to be so bad the pain would wake me up in the night even with the maximum allowed painkillers.

Ladybird- having a soak in the bath has to be the biggest Mummy luxury ever! I love to hand LO over to OH of an evening and read my book in the bath! How do you live without a shower though :eek:. I'm not awake till I've had a shower in the morning.

I'm just powering through some dooyoo reviews as I have some points on there that expire soon, apparently, and I don't want to lose them!

are piles the same as hemerroids? if so and the wipes have treatment stuff in them you could use the wipes on your eye bags on days your suffering from lack of sleep :cool:

yes I do cos I make them with boiling water. not good when u shake & forget to put the lid on properly :cool:

Well Charly is now 13lb12 at 18 weeks - not had her weighed for 6 weeks and only gonna go every month from now on.

Sleep didn't go well last night, she woke almost every half hour until 12.30 when I gave up and brought her in with me. At 18 weeks, she isn't too young to do the pick up/put down thing is she? Leave her while she whinges and only pick up if she really cries/screams, don't speak to her and put her down as soon as she stops? Any advice if this is the way to go?

Jam - I tried doing this a few times from around 12weeks. I got really impatient though so each attempt didnt last long . It was only just before his jabs last week that he would settle himself.

sami - yes it is the 12th, 12-2pm.

I'm not on any pill :shhh:
