    And Yay for comfy boobies!

I need to go bra shopping desperately but I can't see the point until I finish BF. I am guessing that my boobs will change then?

My thinking was to wait for a few months after finishing feeding for them to settle to a size!

I've heard people argue against b/f because it makes you're boobies disappear. I'm a very proud and comfy 34DD today, i'm sure I struggled to fill a 34b before J was born.

(I'm so proud I sent OH a pic of my lovely new bra containing my lovely new boobies - I thought it might make him giggle at lunchtime! ;) I got a one word reply 'nice'!)

buttons we allow £500 a year for our 1.0 litre, and we use approx £30 of fuel per month. Hope that helps xxx

£30 a month! OH has put £45 in his car this week - although it is a silly boy car and he's travelling to Cheshire every day. His insurance is £900 ish a year too, and thats with the reduction for having me, his old bird, on it. (The car is currently up for sale to swap for a sensible one!)

And i've put £20 in mine. I usually don't need to and don't use it much, but i've got the extra school travelling to do!

GRrrr I'm reading the money for wedding presents thread and someone's just said that their kids and them are a package and must all be invited together all the time.

It's just ridiculous - sometimes kids aren't welcome to things. Like hen parties, or stag parties, or Ann Summers parties, or quiz night at the pub. And sometimes adults aren't welcome to things, like school, or sleepovers. What sort of message does it send a kid if the parent insists they all go everywhere together all the time?

I can see how people want kids at weddings because it is a family event, but it's not the place of a guest to make that decision. And when a kids' meal costs £30 for upmarket chicken nuggets and chips I can see how a couple might not want to do that for 30+ children of their extended family, you know?
If I had done things the way I planned (aka marriage before babies) with the big wedding thing kids wouldn't be invited!

    Right - 2 questions:

I made a curry in the slow cooker overnight on Wed night and switched it off yesterday morning. Unfortunately I never bothered to take it out of the SC and put it in the fridge. It has just been sat in the SC, with the lid on since :o Would you eat it tonight? I deffo would if I had fridged it...dunno about sat in the SC??

I got a letter from the tax office to say that my tax code has changed because of my private medical cover. My personal allowance has been reduced by the £700 or so that my medical cover costs the company...but nothing has changed at work *confused smiley*
    Anybody got any ideas?

awwww 3, poor you! I think it's cos DH walks or cycles to work on 2-3 days a week, and work is only a 5 mile round trip (not the day he walks! that's half a mile!)
so really it's just that plus a bit of supermarket shopping on the weekend for us :)

    BM cars
road tax will be around £100 per year (depends on co2 emmisions/engine size/age...)
MOT is about £50 per year (plus any work that may be needed)
services are needed every few years (I think!) ours costs £75 but I think its a bit cheaper on a smaller car
I'd guess at insurance being about £500 a year but could be closer to £1k, you're lucky that he's over 25 as males drivers under that cost a fortune!!
When I was travelling 25mins there n back to work in my 1.2 micra (plus going gym, shopping etc) I spent about £40 a month on fuel but petrol was cheaper almost 4yrs ago!
I recomend joining the AA/RAC if he's not confident he'd be able to change a wheel/ fix small probs easily it works out something like £7 for 12mths if you get quidco back

My god, Beenie. I used to work with someone who looked just like that. In fact it took several looks before I was convinced that it wasn't her.

Who is it (cos I know you're much prettier)

how have work treated the taxable benefits before MFD? Have they been deducting more via PAYE in the past?
some medical benefits aren't taxable though:

If your employer pays for your medical insurance, you'll usually have to pay tax on the value of the benefit. This is normally the cost of the insurance premiums.
Your employer can give you some benefits that you won't have to pay tax on, such as:
    • insurance to cover treatment when you're working abroad
    • annual check-ups for you'
has the package that work provide for you changed?
