Yeah what is that private medical deal anyways?
Cause, OH gets private medical or something through work, though he has never used it and it's worth about £300 or something. Apparently tax credits need to know this as it counts as income so our income was lifted £300 when I did the form last year, which I don't think it's fair cause it's not like it's in our pockets!
I also started worrying they'd do me in again for a mistake (like not telling them about it the year before, but i didnt know!)0 -
I also hate hate hate (with a PASSION) clothes shopping. So even when i could spare the cash to buy myself clothes, i tend to make do with what i've got rather than shop lol.
I usually walk into a clothes shop, look around for 2 seconds before realising i could spend 5 hours in there and be none the wiser, so save the effort. I just feel like nothing ever suits me, and if i try anything on i look about 25 stone in the changing room mirrors.
Are you my long lost twin - I feel the same!!!hope the dentist isn't something bad! You sound nice and positiveI used to make my bottles for the next day up before bed then stick them in the fridge and microwave them as needed - this is not how 'they' say you should but I'd be doing this for Ed if he was on formula
You mean just the water in a bottle ready to add formula?
I've not been to a hairdresser for over a year:eek: I sereiously look like a tramp
Initial check up as havent been for a year and my dentist has retired... need a couple of fillings (lost part of a tooth the other day) and a good clean, she also took some xrays... thank heavens for the Mat Exemption card:money:.... DONT FORGET TO GO TO DENTIST WHILST YOU HAVE THIS !!!
Have you taken CHris yet ? I think its when they are 3 isnt it?My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »Maz - I missed your milk finishing. Congrats to you for doing your bit :T you should be proud. xx

:jHi Always, nice to see you on here! Sounds like Thomas is doing well.
SS- that sounds like a bit of a 'mare. I have been stupid enough to close unsaved excel files on occassion and lost a lot of work. It is a bad feeling.
I think I have worked out a way to get a gym membership for £80 using Clubcard vouchers. I am very happy as I miss using the gym but cannot justify huge monthly fees.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Debating. Do I sell the loola and get a mura? I really hate it. Like, really, really can't stand it. Too used to my big 3 wheelers that just glide along.
How is everyone? I went to mothercare and picked up this in green and lemon for £20.99 cot size. So quite happy cos sheets and blankets are a rip off!
Oh and Amber has now had all her jags and weighs 16lb3oz.0 -
button - empathise with you about the car, dp's car is a bit of a boy racer one and it just burns cash, the service / repair bill last year was £3k and the seats are annoyingly almost impossible to get the bloomin car seat in!
it is sooooooooooo grey and wet here, really need to go to post office / grocers / butchers but its not a tempting walk! do need to get little man's passport done though as we are off to stay with his abuela (spanish Grandma) on March 6th and it'd be handy to have it by then, bit tricky to get on the already booked flights without it!
anyone have any idea how long child benefit takes to come through? what with the last dregs of my overdraft and SMP only on January payday, it'll be pretty much the only spending money I have in February. We only managed to get Thomas registered on Monday so the forms only went off on Wednesday so hoping it won't be too long!0 -

tia, if you really dont like it and you will make your money back, i'd sell it and get mura if thats the one you want.
So anyone got the MURA to tell tia what its like?'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -

Right - 2 questions:
I made a curry in the slow cooker overnight on Wed night and switched it off yesterday morning. Unfortunately I never bothered to take it out of the SC and put it in the fridge. It has just been sat in the SC, with the lid on sinceWould you eat it tonight? I deffo would if I had fridged it...dunno about sat in the SC??
I got a letter from the tax office to say that my tax code has changed because of my private medical cover. My personal allowance has been reduced by the £700 or so that my medical cover costs the company...but nothing has changed at work *confused smiley*
Anybody got any ideas?
Yes - I know I should ask these questions in the right bit of the board but what it the point when you lovely lot are bound to know the answer!!
oh did you do the curry how it was recommend by glam and sorry can't remember who else
not sure about eating it, is it chicken? if so maybe i wouldn't but if lamb or beef might be okay??
i see life insurance has been discussed -- must look into that but i get so confused over that sort of thing sometimes.
insurance - i cant help there. it's just for hubby as i dont drive (really should )
i am another that hates clothes shopping for myself. detest it with a passion. although, love it for LO (though i am not good at buying on the spot and often get home wishing i had bought something). i did buy her some clothes from boots doay in their sale (which i had looked at yesterday) and some trainers.
i got a £5 off ruby millie voucher so my treat myself to that No.7 cream0 -
always have you sorted out child tax creds x
Still searching .....:)
