Tia fergus STILL has a dream feed!:o We've tried moving it earlier by 15 mins a day and now it's 8.30. But the 3 times we've tried to stop he's woken at 3 and unconsoled by anything other than milk! Anything we can do?

That must be difficult, lovely - I can't help at all, Molly still has three overnight feeds

What's a Burping Song and how do I do it as I think this could help with evening wind.
OH sings them to Molly, it's like MFD's more a football chant and it goes, Burp burp burp burp, don't be a twerp, give me a burp, with gentle bouncing and shoulder rubbing and patting till it comes out.

Scruffy if nobody else wants that singing bib I would love to put it in my prepared-birthdays stash - the thought of a bib singing all day is making me :rotfl:

Lovely night last night - tasty Mexican food and a Bloody Maria (like a bloody mary but made with tequila instead of vodka)

I've just realised that the birthday present I got for Molly is ages 3+, so I'm going to need to get something else. I think I'm going to spend some time on dooyoo.co.uk and earn some Amazon vouchers, I was looking at an activity dome type thing. Any thoughts on first birthday presents?

Hope I didn't miss anything, but hello everyone and a lovely morning to you all.

Edit: I did miss something - wonderful news, Karen, and a very sweet name :)

Yeah SM it's not the point is it. No one paid for it at DS school, i was paying £9 a week school dinners - he gets them free now. I wasn't working for a few months a few years ago and i didn't tell school i was working again for about 5 months :o Naughty lol. They didn't bat an eyelid when i finally told them though, maybe they'll catch up with me one day :rotfl:

Don't think the Sainsbury's thing is still on, no sign of it on the site. Does anyone know if you get a syringe in the box? I'd rather squirt it into the side of her mouth than faff with a spoon i think?
  • Beenie - it doesn't even have a box! It is just an old-fashioned looking glass bottle with a pink and purple label. Buy some baby neurophen (you will need it at some point!) and use the one from that ;)

SS - for his first birthday I have bought Benjamin an ITNG walking mat thingie (makes a noise when you walk on it), a couple of ITNG push along toys, some kind of train thing will balls, a set of ITNG collapsing figures, and some thomas cubes which say which train it is when you put them in a little speaker thingie. Cost me about £20 in total in the Boots and Argos Sales. I won't buy him anything else now, can't see the point of going mad on a first birthday! Although I was a big meanie at christmas too!

He is not even that big a fan of ITNG :rotfl:he only like Iggle Piggle because I sing the song to him!!

I don't think I posted yesterday so belated happy birthdays to MFD DSS and Caz's Lewis.

MFD - how did the meal go? Did DSS enjoy himself? I love how you, OH and PW are so civilised! :)
Am I being naive again? Can't be bothered with all that mixing faff!! He eats curry without blinking, I am sure a bit of cows milk isn't going to phase him!!

We've swapped one formula feed for moo milk this week and she's either not noticed or doesn't care. I actually think she'd just eat/drink anything!

good news as long as i dont over spend and no unexpected bill comes out (fingers crossed) I CAN COME!!! x

He repeated this for a while til he came to the elephant, which he held up to me and said "TICKABAKATAINACACKBUH" (insert missing confused smiley here). I have no idea what he was communicating to me but he was very excited about the elephant!

An excellent word for Elephant! :T How cute!

Krystal I've noticed a few of the things V eats say 12 months on the packaging! *insert confused smiley*

School milk I think (here anyway) the infants get free milk & fruit in the morning, but juniors have to pay for milk and take fruit in for morning snack.

    Good morning everyone else.

I've got a climbing baby today. She's already been up the stairs at record speed, and is standing of her chair now.

Beenie, are you looking at gripe water to solve Amber's fussiness at night? or does she have trouble bringing up her burps? I'm wondering if it would do any good for a) Finn's evening fusiness; b) increased pukiness...

she'd only get it free if she got free school meals but due to us getting WTC i have to pay its only £10.40 every term but its not the point if i paid it im not paying it again x
I thought you got free school meals as long as you have an income below something around £15k? (i.e. if you have a low enough income for WTC then you also qualify for free school meals)

Aless - both! I know she's having trouble with wind because she's tensing up and arching her back a lot, even when feeding. Through the day she seems to bring up all of the wind but on a night it seems to be that she's got loads of trapped wind so occasionally brings up tenny burps, and some puke.

Although i did wonder if the puke was because i'm faffing her about trying to get wind up, with a full belly :rotfl:
