Last time I saw JK was when I was having my GTT in the hospital. :rotfl:

    *bit of a moan*

Well, it looks like BIL could be here for a while :(

I rang MIL about the situation and so she rang him and asked him what was happening about a flat. Apparently his mate is getting a lift in now so doesn't mind travelling & isn't fussed about getting a flat. BIL is resitting an exam in June and after that he will be starting a training contract so he could end up moving anywhere in the UK - so would be living somewhere for less then 6months (unlikely to get a 4-5 month contract).

He's going to speak to his mate and let her know the situation. I have said to her that I don't want him to stay but I guess I could put up with it if he contributed more each week and maybe offered to cook once a week or pay for a takeaway.

I don't mind doing everything for OH - he's my OH, he works full-time and I don't mind cooking for him, doing his dirty washing and stuff but I don't see why I should have to do it for BIL.

I feel sorry for MIL - I really laid it all on her! :o She then text me and offered to lend me the money for my car tax which I politely declined and said I would manage - I've been pleading poverty as a way of getting more rent out of BIL :D

Just need to let her know if I need anything for J and she will put the money in my account.

I guess BIL isn't so bad but I think when we get an idea of what's going on I'll sit BIL down and go through some ground rules & extra rent.

    Oh dear :p

When I was working and OH was off he would watch things like 'Don't get done, Get Dom' Cash in the Attic, Bargain Hunt, etc.

I used to like watching Doctors and Diagnosis Murder

Thanks Tia - he doesn't even wake up hungry! He wakes about 45mins before he wants a bottle. Thank you for talking me into it. I know get evenings to myself and don't have to be watching the clock for 11pm!

I did plan to be in bed by 10pm tonight though :o

As long as the quality is good. Her concern is poor quality and a company that may have skeletons (animal testing etc)

I've not used that particular site but I understand they do some nice finger type foods which I will be getting for J.

A great latex invention hopefully means I won't be needing baby food for a while!

As long as this company has a good reputation, I can go back to her with no horror stories.
I honestly don't know if the baby rice is any good. Andrew doesn't have much to compare it with! Want me to ask his opinion tomorrow? :rotfl:

I'm glad you've clarified. My first thought was "Is there something he's not telling us?" but my scarier second though was "Has his eldest logged in by accident?"

Please do. If he spits it out, i'll put one extra black mark against the baby rice. :o

:rotfl:I read that second bit just as 16yo entered the room :o and nearly spat my chocolate coin out

    Thanks for the comments everyone.

As far as TV goes, i'm lucky to have girls who like their football. Other than that, a bit of Big Brother, CSI - NY and Miami only, after kids are in bed and kids TV the girls like, I don't watch anything else.

That Glee program is already annoying me, yet some of the girls love it.

Gosh what a week I'm having!

On Saturday morning, I was coming downstairs and didn't notice that Jack had left a ball on a rope toy on the stair. I put my foot on it and my legs shot out from under me. I bounced down the last few stairs on my bum, and my foot smacked off the wooden settle bench in the hall. Ended up with a bruised bum and a bruised and swollen foot, so I've been hobbling around in trainers all week as my other shoes and boots were too tight.

Swelling has gone down on foot now and I managed to get my boots on this morning so I was pleased. It's just a bit bruised and a little sore now.

Went out for a walk at lunchtime with Charlotte and the dogs. Some of the paths through the woods are still thick of ice here and they are slippy. We were walking along and Charlotte was holding my hand when she slipped and managed to jerk me backwards. My legs shot out again and I landed flat on my back on the path. Have now got a bruised bum again, and I've got awful pain in my left shoulder and left side of my neck. It feels a bit like the whiplash I had after a car accident :(

I've had a cocktail of painkillers and some vodka though and that's helped.

I really think I need to live in a padded cell :o

Charlotte was asking for different music tracks on earlier and she said she wanted to listen to "pop out the baldy". It took ages to work out that she wanted to listen to Pump up the Volume by MARRS:rotfl:

Bit cheesed off with my ex. I told him on the phone on Monday that James was at hospital today and mentioned it on Facebook today. Has he been in contact to ask what happened? Errr no! Still he did manage to get Lavendar Mastery in Farmville though, so I guess that's what matters. Ho hum!
Here I go again on my own....
