yes, ebay. had seen a few cheap ones but p&p was in some cases massive then thought i'll see if any are for pick-up and there was!! there is tons for sale. try local pick up and i'm sure you'll get one cheap enough. hasnt got a tray but have sen them cheap enough as well. and tbh dont really need the tray as once i start weaning he will be able to sit in his highchair.

the term is how long you pay for and how long you are covered. if you pay for 10 yeasr you are covered for those 10 years. our financial advisor (sounds posh ) said you need to look at a policy that will cover your children till you think they would be financially independant. so we have done ours for 21years which will cover Kian should anything happen to me and DH until he is 21. we now have to make wills and chose 2 people who will be responsible for Kian's money- should anything happen us. all a bit morbid i suppose but i really think its something that if you can afford is well worth having.

Kian had is jabs. had forgotten it was 3!! till the nurse said. he cried a bit but is fine now and snoring away in his buggy. he was fast asleep when we got back so i have left him there rather than wake him up and put him in his cot. so really i should be doing dishes, sterilising and making bottles....not sat here chatting. oh well....i'm a woman i can multi-task

MFD - something freaky (well to me anyway) ... my real dad married another lady with the same name as my mum :eek: at least it saved my nan getting confused or anyone else for that matter.

she is a lovely lady (although they are separated in their own strange way - i think they are still together just live apart) and she is very much like my mum in her way of thinking

does anyone else have trouble accessing on facebook the post with our mse names and real names. i keep getting friend suggestions from facebook but wanted to put mse names to them so people dont think i am a stalker

meant to say yesterday, asked at ckinic how much Kian should be drinking as he doesnt seem to have loads of bottles. so HV said he should be havimg - 23-32oz of formula a day. that relaxed me a bit. said because he is on hungry baby milk, there maybe days when he doesnt need as much as long as it doesnt dip below 20oz over a couple of days, not to worry. so now i'm back to logging how many oz he's having... neurotic mummy i am

jillie - they didn't even tell me it was going to be 3. I saw them do 2 in one leg and asked why she had done that and then she said it was 3. I hate those nurses, they always bruise him.

OK I had THE FREAKIST DREAM EVER.

I woke up cos I felt someone get into bed with me, I said to OH 'You're supposed to be in work' - it wasn't OH :eek: I was dreaming and it was some freaky devil thing that obviously wanted his wicked way with me!
So I managed to wake myself up, J was crying so I took him downstairs but it was really dark. I got to the front door and the outside of the door was barricaded and outside the windows it was pitch black and there was loads of tiny eyes watching me. I was terrified, it was so real and I was sure I was still awake. I was screaming HELP ME & WAKE UP - I was then shouting out in RL and managed to wake myself (and J up).
I was so freaked out when I woke up - for real this time!

It was after OH left for work and I woke up @ 8.30am so wasn't even in a deep sleep!

Jillie - glad Kian was okay with his jabs.

Try not to get too hung up about the amount of milk he does or doesn't have. As long as he is taking his fill and is thriving (wet and dirty nappies and gaining some weight) then I am sure he will be fine. We wouldn't expect all 5, 10, 16 or 60 year olds to eat the same, so why do we expect babies to?

If he was BF you wouldn't have a clue how much he was getting.

I meant to say the same to DKAM yesterday, why reduce Ryry's milk unless you feel he is putting on too much weight / drinking for comfort in the night.

Benjamin can have up to 24oz of bottles in a day, plus BF morning and night, I haven't got a clue but AF said that it is more than he is supposed to have. I am not arrissed, that is how much he wants, who am I to deprive my child!!!

Bless my little princess with her 'walking' J was walking at 9 months and a day so daddy had it in his head that girls were more advanced and wanted her to beat him (in a totally jokey way) So the count down began on the 1st of Jan :rotfl:She has incredible balance and will stand alone for ages wiggling her bum and clapping and dancing - sooo cute - she bends her knees and flaps her hands around. But atm she can only take a half step, ie one foot in front of the other and then sits down :T


Glam its either £5 or £4.90 something like that and its from 6 months .... not sure where in Penketh yet Im guessing near the library or something

LOL MFD -- you know me, always listening too much to what i am 'told' as opposed to trusting myself.

it is on the formula boxes but i could never understand how they could tell you what was right or wrong becuase if you are breastfeeding you can't measure it.

jillie - thats made me feel better about the daily ozs thing. Jack normally has around 28ozs but like I said yesterday was 22ozs which was why he woke early. Good point about the hungry baby milk as well, I hadn't thought of that although he's been on it for 9 weeks now.

My friends LO drains 40ozs a day without batting an eyelid whereas I am always coaxing J to take his bottles. Like MFD said they are all different!

I just blew J's playnest up so he has somewhere that he can sit up safely & try and sit up for a bit longer. He's flopped and looks like he's chilling in a huge rubber ring - all he needs is a sunhat and a pint!
