You have all got it very very wrong !!
    8.30 - 9am Fraiser
    9 - 9.30 Will & Grace
    9.30 - 10.45 The Wright stuff
    10.45 - 11.30 some of This Morning
11.30 - 1 Cash in the attic & Bargain Hunt
till 1.30 its the end of loose woman !!!

Can you tell I dont get out much ?? lol
When I was pregnant (and ill) I watched Frasier, Homes under the Hammer, another House programe I forget the name of, lunchtime news, Neighbours, Cash in the Attic, Car Booty and Diagnosis Murder. After Diagnosis Murder I would go to bed until OH came home. Just thinking about any of those programmes makes me feel sick now.

Charlotte was asking for different music tracks on earlier and she said she wanted to listen to "pop out the baldy". It took ages to work out that she wanted to listen to Pump up the Volume by MARRS:rotfl:

Do no one else read the Biff, Chip and Kipper books at school? At first I thought you were quoting from one of those! :rotfl:
I didn't but my brothers who are five tears younger than me did and me and my other brother used to read them avidly and be dissappointed if they had the same reading book two days running.

I do. My first reading book was about an Ambulance. I could even recount some of the stories from the red Whizz Bang series I read in Y1. Unfortunately my super memory skills don't extend to useful things.

Thanks Weezl. That does often seem to do the trick.

I was singing and dancing with her last night to Black Eyed Peas - I've gotta feeling and she absolutely loved it. Was doing it at the top of the stairs in front of the mirror and she was watching me and grinning sooo much. It was fab, so I thought perhaps singing could be the way to go when we have these nasty evenings.

Little angel is still asleep. I'd hoped to go and get her first Pixifoto pics done today but it is pouring with rain and I can't really be arrised to go out so I'm tempted to wait. They will be here again in another month or so, just wish I'd done it sooner.

The bounty lady from the hospital never came back to me either, so not got those pictures from when she was 5 hours old. They were quite good too, though I thought £40 was a bit steep so maybe its a good job.

Still can't catch up, about 24 hours behind so I'm going to give up and start again, but one of the things I'd quoted was about a 'burping song'.

What's a Burping Song and how do I do it as I think this could help with evening wind.

Anyway, thanks in advance on any burpy advice. p.s, she seems to have developed a taste for gripe water - possitively slurped it off the spoon monday night :rotfl:

harley we never had a song, but walking up and down the stairs holding fergie a couple of times always dislodged stubborn burps :)

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

LOL - a burping song is just MFD-madness!! I have little ditties for everything, most of my day is spent singing about what is happening (or was - I'd feel a little silly singing about burping or being a Super Pooper when I am out on site!!)

Anyway, basically the way it goes was finish feeding and then hold baby upright either on shoulder or under armpits, then bounce gently up and down and sing:

'Where's ya burper, burpy, burpy, burp-errr, Where's ya burper, burpy, burpy....*silence waiting for baby to fill in gap in a comedy timing kinda way*'

    It's more like a football chant :o

Last time I saw JK was when I was having my GTT in the hospital. :rotfl:

    *bit of a moan*

Well, it looks like BIL could be here for a while :(

I rang MIL about the situation and so she rang him and asked him what was happening about a flat. Apparently his mate is getting a lift in now so doesn't mind travelling & isn't fussed about getting a flat. BIL is resitting an exam in June and after that he will be starting a training contract so he could end up moving anywhere in the UK - so would be living somewhere for less then 6months (unlikely to get a 4-5 month contract).

He's going to speak to his mate and let her know the situation. I have said to her that I don't want him to stay but I guess I could put up with it if he contributed more each week and maybe offered to cook once a week or pay for a takeaway.

I don't mind doing everything for OH - he's my OH, he works full-time and I don't mind cooking for him, doing his dirty washing and stuff but I don't see why I should have to do it for BIL.

I feel sorry for MIL - I really laid it all on her! :o She then text me and offered to lend me the money for my car tax which I politely declined and said I would manage - I've been pleading poverty as a way of getting more rent out of BIL :D

Just need to let her know if I need anything for J and she will put the money in my account.

I guess BIL isn't so bad but I think when we get an idea of what's going on I'll sit BIL down and go through some ground rules & extra rent.

oh, so not good news. has he never cooked or bought a takeaway??? he's been there months!!!!

oh just seen the time need to dash

I need to learn some songs because when i sing to Amber it's all jibberish. Something about pinky ponky poo, tinky tonky too confused-smiley-013.gif :rotfl:(she loves this 'song' and always smiles lol)

Last night wasn't too bad, and i hadn't been to a shop to invest in gripe water so i'm definitely going to get some today.
She started fussing at around 8pm and i spent the whole night on a mission to get the wind out, finally got her settled at around 12:30am and she fell asleep in her basket til 6:45am. Then she fed and went straight back to sleep.
I fed her less last night cos it was as if i was going back to square one everytime she had milk, and i was getting teeny occasional burps and bit of milk (why does she only ever puke when i forgot to put the sheet over my shoulder?).

So the gripe water - i give this automatically after a feed, or only when she starts really fussing? How long does it take to work?

just got back from shop and zoes school .. quite annoyed at zoes school as they have no account of zoes milk being paid yet shes had it for 2 weeks but this week nothing but the receception said she would put her down for it today and look in to it .. ooo i am impressed with myself i had £1.50p and managed to get a tin of beans, a carton of juice, a reduced fat moouse, a chocolate brownie and a small bottle of pop (zoes end of week treat if i hear good news from school) and still came home with 7p change ... god i missed my OS ways .. or am i sad that i get a little over happy from stuff like that :o x
    :)Still searching .....:)

Beenie, give it when she starts fussing and you should see it work straight away... Aimee loved it, I would see her uncurl as the gripe water went down... Caitlyn choked on it and then rewarded me with the entire contents of her stomach... So it could go either way...

Do you have a home bargains close by? It's cheaper there than boots...
