    hi everyone,

having a sneaky post as i am on my own (shhh dont tell anyone)

MFD - glad DSS had a great night. a bit freaked out about the same glasses/card scenario :D

after lurking yesterday and reading about the change over of milk, which i had been thinking about, and also can't be doing with faffing about with an oz of this and that, i tried LO with real milk last night. just a few sips from a tumbler and she took it fine.

not sure about the BM/formula tastes but she has had both and a few different formulas at that and it hasn't bothered her taste wise.

sleeping is still up and down. she was awake for an hour during the early hours again, thankfully just not settling rather than constant crying.

    xxx

Don't think the Sainsbury's thing is still on, no sign of it on the site. Does anyone know if you get a syringe in the box? I'd rather squirt it into the side of her mouth than faff with a spoon i think?

Beenie, go to the Pharmacy counter and ask if they have any. I cant remember but we either bought one for silly money like 20p or they gave us one??

MFD i think your right about the milk thing as erin has never bothered about her milk changing? My nephew is on special milk for weight gain and it smells awful, my sister has lots of problems getting him to take it and erin picked up his bottle and drank it?? although at the moment if she can eat it she will lol!

Henry picked up Williams bottle of milk last night and started drinking it!!

Aless, Amber only pukes when she's still got some wind, so during the day that's only if i forgot to wind her, but on a night she will puke with her wind so it does sound like he's got a bit of trapped wind

3 - we got 25% off CT when OH was a student n I was working.

My gripe water comes in a box :p - £1.98 in ASDA

J woke at 3am for a cuddle which OH had a right moan about, then @ 5.30am for a bottle. I know its only because he was being fussy yday so only had 22ozs all day instead of around 30ozs!
He's not getting the option of being fussy today

I need to go to 3 different banks today but need to stay in & wait for OH's phone to be delivered. They sent him the wrong model on Wednesday!

I make up lots of songs throughout the day - when he has a poo he gets
'Poopy, poopy, poopy, pants, poopy pants, poopy pants, 'Poopy, poopy, poopy, pants, 'Poopy, poopy, pants' to the tune of I am the music Man and I can play .................................... :o:cool:

he seems to like it anyway!

Jillie - if its his 3rd jabs then its 3 not 2
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

I got a syringe from the pharmacy when they gave me the infant paracetamol so thats a good option.

Yeah i thought it came in a box but didn't wanna say in case i imagined it :D

Going back a few days here, but everyone was talking about life insurance. I'm just looking at quotes and i don't understand what term of policy means?
Is it the period i'm paying for it, or do i have to try and predict how long i'll live? Lol.

I'm only 24 so would i be paying for it for my whole life, or paying for it for say, 10 years and then covered for life?? Confused.com > literally :p

Cool - every little helps! :money:

I need to figure out what I am at the moment - i'm not unemployed, but i'm not working or getting paid.

The info from work about the career break says i'm allowed to claim any benefits which I may be entitled too (none!), and i'm also allowed to work as long as its not for the same hours as my contract i'm on a career break from! (I really need the confused smiley now!)

MFD  for the same glasses and cards!

I've just run a bath for me to jump in while V has her nap. She followed me in and took her socks off and threw them in.

  • Morning all,

Hope everyone is feeling good! Im not have had a crap morning :(

Just quickly from what I can remember

GISI Enjoy your free time at the hairdressers tomorrow.

    Bruno, Elijah sounds very cute!

Jillie, good news on the bumbo hope LO enjoys it

MFD I dont think your [STRIKE]that[/STRIKE] strange :p

    SM No extra spending :j

Krystal, Im always giving Lexi things she shouldn't have according to them - them being the people who make the rules

When Joshua was in reception and yr1 milk and fruit was free. Now they are a tasty tucker school??? Dont know if anyone else has heard of that, they can take there own fruit and milk/juice or pay for toast and milk at 50p a day for a small carton of milk and half a slice of toast. I think its criminal!

Karen congratulation on becoming an auntie and also to your sister Im really pleased it all went ok!

3 Is it one of those NUS cards? I think you can get money off certain shops and cinema and stuff.... Hope you V and others are ok? Did you go to gymbabes or is that next week?

Ladybird you made me do a MFD and snort coffee, Lexi hates the hoover and the thought of hoovering her feet with the dyson had me in stitches with images of her being sucked up it that flippin powerful.

Well Lexi is sleeping, I have a pile of dishes and laundry that needs sorting but I have just made a pot of gorgeous real coffee and I think I need it to give me some energy! Then I [STRIKE]might[/STRIKE] will start doing some stuff...

It is Sparkle. But that means he'll have to come shopping with me to use the card. I hate taking him shopping.

Gymbabes is next Thursday - i'm quite excited. I'm so rubbish, V almost 1 year old and this will be the first group i've arranged to get to. (Apart from sling meets and booby picnic!) :o

Why is your morning crap already?

I'm off for a quick bath to mow my legs while V sleeps. :D

Oh, I forgot. Congrats to Auntie Karen. Lovely pretty name. :T
