I think I am skilled at being a counsellor.
I think being a warm, loving parent, wife and friend is what I'd like to invest in more.
Just wanted to say that you've always given me a very kind ear, with exactly the right sort of questions. I also think you are a very loving and warm parent.
Elle - I wanted to mention earlier too that you are super-duper fabtabulous.
MM - Sorry for your rubbish birthday, hope you get to have a nice day and fabulous dinner in the future.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

Try it with a toddler running in one direction and a puppy heading for mischief in the other direction. It's a challenge
She doesn't even laugh at 'NO'. It just doesn't seem to register at all. It's so tiring all day long. Even though she's cute, I think I've given birth to a hooligan
It's not about just saying no. Think about your facial expression, voice tone and body language. If you just say no in your normal voice with a normal face they don't take a blind bit of notice. You need to practise saying no in a firm, sharp tone and have a cross Mammy face.
Eventually you perfect the cross Mammy face and when you're out and they start misbehaving, you just need to fire a look and they know you're annoyed
She nearly fell over when I said I was still expressing :rotfl: Then hugged me when I said I was doing BFing supporter trainingI told her I was stopping at a year "because I've done my bit then" and she said she thought I'd done more than my bit
Apparently her daughter didn't take to BFing so she expressed for 8wks and that was enough for her
She said he's an amazing little boy who is doing remarkably well considering the start he had. Said she'd never been so stressed over a baby before and she'd still be talking about him when she's walking round with her zimmer frame
That's brilliant news - well done :jBrunoM wrote:Becles, please don't feel anxious and stop posting! I love to hear about your three, and I can tell other people feel the same cuz they ask after you when you go awol
Thanks. I just have a bad gut feeling about something and it makes me feel uncomfortable at times.
Took the dogs and Charlotte out earlier and she was babbling on and said "Cheryl Cole is really fit". I asked her who's been saying that, and she said James told her :rotfl:
She's fascinated by the sun and keeps asking me questions about it. We were talking about the sun giving light and heat today and were looking at where the ice has melted on the bits of path in the sun, but the path shaded by trees still has ice on.
Edit: sorry to hear your birthday was rubbish MM. I've still got a tub of posh ice cream in the freezer left of Christmas. If you lived closer I'd pop it round with it so you could indulgeHere I go again on my own....0 -

I don't suppose "ditto, ditto and ditto" is an acceptable answer?0
