Becles, please don't feel anxious and stop posting! I love to hear about your three, and I can tell other people feel the same cuz they ask after you when you go awol :)

Elle, manymany yays for Rhys the wonderboy and your awesome care of him :) you continue to be inspiring as a team! :) :T

Mel, you sound like you've had a hectic few days! Happy with the results on the carpet, though?

Is it bad that I laughed at this. Will you remind me when Leila is 17 months and i'm tearing my hair out!:p
Yikes! How do you deal with that?

    xx

It's not bad at all Mooki, we often can't help but laugh and we're trying to teach ourselves not to so as to avoid encouraging him...
He is really a good-natured baby most of the time so we deal with it by briefly padding him or taking away hurlable objects so he doesn't hurt himself/anything else, while distracting him. He'll go from angry shouting to uncontrollable giggles in 3 seconds if you flip him the wrong way up and blow on his tummy ;p Or he will happily spend 2 minutes standing and shouting "UP" and then squatting and shouting "DAN" - etc :)

SM, do you have a cartridge world near you? We got a black and a colour refill for our printer for less than a tenner...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Elle, I bet you're over the moon. Yay

Tia, I hope she settles for you soon. Its awful when you cant stop it for them.

r mac....just so you know i still get the 'no' now. Here is a conversation ive just had with my eldest DD on the phone. She left me a letter and disappeared to her nannas. She received a letter today showing her Moc exam results and her target grades.

Me: Why didnt you tell me there was such a gap between your Moc result and your target result in Science?

    DD: Dunno

Me: You seem to remember to tell me when you've done well. Do you think it might have something to do with you not revising enough?

DD: No, its not me you should be questioning. You need to ask the teachers why they set the target grade too high:cool:

Sounds strange but since I was pregnant with Henry I dont seem to have any hairs on my legs anymore.... they just dont grow???:confused::j
Mine more or less went when I was pregnant with Alice but then they gradually came back again.
Yes thanks. Practice Manager resigned, Lucy gone down to part time - 2 days a week, out of choice. She's happier now although we have daughter problems, so swings and roundabouts.
Sounds like the best possible outcome you could have hoped for. (The work bit that is - not the ill daughter obviously.)

Then the inlaws had one of their 'when are you going back to work?' rants at me yesterday. (I'm not and don't plan to if I can help it) Just what a girl wants to hear when she's feeling a bit down.
Why do they think it is their business? Does OH know about what they are saying to you? If my inlaws kept saying things like that to me, my first line of action would be either to have words with them myself or tell OH that he needed to speak to them about it.
You then get 'no' with reasoning!

Poppy says 'no mummy, I'm sitting on the chair/playing with my toys/hiding'! :rotfl:

She has recently started to say 'I' instead of Poppy too. I'm fascinated by how their language progresses!
Alice is always saying, "Just a minute, I'm..." or, "I'll do that tomorrow." And the other day when I asked her what she was doing, she said, "I'm sitting here for a reason."

jenny - I did find some baby swimming classes in London Bridge but they're full up on all the ones posted on the website (www.littledippers.co.uk). That was just a brief Google, I haven't gone back to look for more. But £114 for 6 weeks! Also, hope to see you on Thursday's sling meet! :D

    elle - :T :T for rhys!!

tia - hugs for crying babies. Maybe you and OH could take shifts so only 1 has to deal with at a time while the other recoops?
