    Hi all..

Well, Consultant is happy-ish  We can take him off two meds, reduce another (I already had.. shhhh ;)), and she's writing to kidney specialist (again!) to see if we can stop the weekly jab. I didn't realise but they've all had face to face meetings about Rhys, back in November!

Developmentally, she's very happy, but says she can feel some slight resistance in his arms and legs so wants the physio to give us exercises to do. Tbh, she said this last time and the physio dismissed it, but we have a new physio next month so we'll see what they say.

Weight wise, she said she wasn't happy when she saw the number on paper (4oz gain ) but to look at him, he looks fine, not skinny and like "he has a good covering on him". We reweighed him and it was the same  She's not actually that bothered now she's seen him in the flesh so just the same as we have been doing and see how he goes :)

She nearly fell over when I said I was still expressing :rotfl: Then hugged me when I said I was doing BFing supporter training :D I told her I was stopping at a year "because I've done my bit then" and she said she thought I'd done more than my bit :o Apparently her daughter didn't take to BFing so she expressed for 8wks and that was enough for her :)

She said he's an amazing little boy who is doing remarkably well considering the start he had. Said she'd never been so stressed over a baby before and she'd still be talking about him when she's walking round with her zimmer frame ;)

nice one elle!!! sounds like she is a lovely consultant too. Hope ypu wright these all down to tell rhys when he's older

:rotfl:that's what I thought! Don't say it will be March before I see you

We could always arrange another mini meet at the Trafford Centre before then - hopefully Jillie, Dora, Jakesmummy )and everyone else who is close that I can't remember!) can come to.
I'm up for a [STRIKE]coffee [/STRIKE]hot choc at those places near you or town or another meet at trafford, can't leave it until March!!

Don't, you'll start me off.. I'm getting more fragile as he gets older! :o

Anyway, I'm not amazing, I'm just doing what I can  He's the amazing one.. might have something to say about you snipping his bits, mind ;):p
you are amazing and Rhys is too, but on this occasion I felt you were more important ;) give the dinky one a love from me though, has he tasted choc? I just let Ed hold my biccy thinking he'd do what he always does and inspect it before deciding it didn't look fun but oh no it was deeeeeelish and I had to prise it out of his hands :rotfl::o

sami - my LO doesn't like chocolate?! she's been allowed a 'taste' on three occassions now and she spits it out and pulls a face. I'm not sure she's my daughter!!!

PS LO now emptying the one kitchen cupboard she can get into - the one with all her plastic/melamine/cutlery/spoons in it :D She's taking each item for a walk around the table before taking another thing out of the cupboard and walking it round the room!
