I put it in when I used to post lots on the green/ethical board as people quite often took things I said as personal criticisms. It saves having to put disclaimers on everything.

It seems I might have to copy you with the first line!

I shall sign my name to that petition later.

Susan - That's so unfair! Men can get away with going grey more I think. Look at George Cloony. :smileyhea
I don't know what George Cloony looks like but I'll take your word for it. My Grandad was 21 when he met my Grandma and was already bald so I think I've got away lightly compared to that. I've found that grey hairs stick out more when they are short so if you ignore them then they blend in better with the rest of your hair. I've got dozens and most people don't believe me when I say I have until I actually point them out.

  • I've been asked to join the parents forum for my local surestart centre, its a bit poor at the moment for instance we don't have a booby club, all your surestarts sound fab so girls and boys, what does your surestart centre offer? Any ideas welcome

Glam on that subject what is Tiny Stars? I hear you mention it every week but what happens there?

The playgroup I went to on Saturday was a Tiny Stars so I presume it is a franchise

Ooo - I would love to join something like that! I can't wait until Benjamin goes to school and I can volunteer to be a Parent Governor or something :o

This is the wonderful Surestart Centre that I use.

    CHEEKY MARE

Millies Mum - Nooooooo! I can't face plucking my chin or tash! Mum has chin issues, but I was hoping I didn't have her hair genes. I'm not as hairy as her and my sister.............interesting and amazing fact of the day, 3 has never grown any armpit hair! :p

Ooo - how fab would that be!! Ladies pay thousands of pounds not to have to shave their pits!!
My mum has never shaved her legs () her hairs are quite fair and less than 1cm long - mine were longer when I finally got around to shaving them on Saturday!!!

    Edit- YAY - GO RHYSY!!!

Look at the state of his face this morning! :( At first I thought it was creases from the muslin he slept on (OH puts one under him, dunno why anymore!), but it's not, it's self-inflicted scratches.

Leila had a scratch on her ankle yesterday and OH was very concerned that it had happended at the CM's. I said Leila probably scratched herself. I then made a big show of cutting her fingernails. But I know full well that I did it when I was changing her nappy;) sssssssshhhhhhhh!

I was invited to my brother's school to give a talk about being a Solicitor. They have the likes of Tony Blair coming to talk at his school, so I was very flattered! I am looking forward to being an involved mummy with Leila's school too, thats if I let her go to school cos the way I feel right now I might want to keep her all to myself forever and ever!:p

Wow! I wish our centres would have websites like that  I can understand why, but unless you actually go in you can't find any info on what's on at all :(

Thanks MFD and Sami thats exactly what I wanted, I know they could be doing so much more than they do but until I get to the first meeting next monday I don't know if the reason they don't is down to budget constraints or lack of skills or well, it could be anything.

Rhys has just eaten a huge bowl of porridge (ya know, baby huge ;)). At first I made it too thick so added more milk and cream, then it was too thin so added more porridge.. etc etc. Ended up with a massive portion which I thought he wouldn't even have half of. He troughed the lot and now he's got designs on my crumpets!
are they the same crumpets you were suposed to not be eating or have I got mixed up?
