I think the bickering is over for the moment. Now we're all focussed on elle's crumpets [STRIKE]and how to steal them when she isn't looking[/STRIKE].
I think i've just answered my own question by quoting you - the crossing out of text thing.
Seen people do it on the stay at home thread and never asked how it was done.
[STRIKE]Now I know[/STRIKE]

3, join the club, do you have to keep an eye on the hairs on your chin yet too?
I've been asked to join the parents forum for my local surestart centre, its a bit poor at the moment for instance we don't have a booby club, all your surestarts sound fab so girls and boys, what does your surestart centre offer? Any ideas welcome
Glam on that subject what is Tiny Stars? I hear you mention it every week but what happens there?
loads of mats with toys, chance for mum to gossip, we have a nursery nurse and a HV there. we do a structured play for a bit so scarf play, mirror play etc and are now having an informative talk each week
Last week was reusable nappies, tomorrow is dental & booby checking I think. It's now a 12 week programme.I feel uncomfortable on this thread again. I don't like the bickering
just ignore it - I am! Life is too short for explaining oneself, I think the main thing is the written word can be easily misread.
chilli on - 1 down 2 to go and mince is still nice and red! (the uncooked obv!)
OH pulls my greys out as they are usually at the back where I cant get them!

Ooo, yes, really struggled with this one yesterday. DH was off and I asked if he could "mind" Finn yesterday (as in, be the one who picks up when he cries, changes him, etc.) to give me a break. I kept getting really grouchy with him because when he does stuff with Finn he's always saying "help help!" and I can go and help him, whereas when I'm home with Finn without him I don't get that luxury IYSWIM? Guess I wanted him to get a taste of what I deal with, which is a wee bit spiteful, but was just frustrating as it defeated the whole purpose of him taking charge. That's just how he is though, and I know I have to genuinely leave the house to get a real 'break' (which I will do next time).
Anyway, he's generally lovely and even when he misses the mark I know 95% of the time he's at least trying.
Glam - sorry Jack was a wakey baby! maybe you guys can get a nap today?
happy a great birthday mm!
i have the same issue with DH. says he wants to do things but the minute he gets a dirty nappy its Jill!!!! i need you!!!
he has rang me before when i;ve been out (only gone 60mins) to see where i was!!
but i had a bit of a paddy and told him it had to stop. so when he is back to having 2 days off a week, 1 day is for daddy and kian!! no mummy!!
Harley- the lean and groove centre is fab!! Kian loves it!! DH put it together on christmas day took a little effort but was easy enough (from what i could see from the couch)

I'm going to say something that is extremely TMI and not to be read while people are eating but I have to share with someone, so I am making it white and you can highlight if you wish.
Edited because I have grossed out enough people now.

She's five and a half months old. The excitement I feel at possibly getting back to normal post-birth is too much for just one personOrganised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
