need help - hopefully getting a new phone do I go for
Samsung Jet
Sony Ericisson Tocco
Nokia E71 - don't mind a QWERTY style
Glam, I bought OH the Tocco Ultra for christmas. He is very "up himself" when it comes to his mobiles. and i am quite sure he thought "what is this crap she's bought me/" when he opened it. (Does not think i am able to use internet to research things, i am a female after all!)
But he actually loves it. Has the normal keypad to text etc. But also has the touch screen. He is always on facebook on it and It has a fab camera. I like the fact that it is slim and I want one too, but there are baby things i need to buy for Alex:(. Woe is me.0 -

3, join the club, do you have to keep an eye on the hairs on your chin yet too?
I've been asked to join the parents forum for my local surestart centre, its a bit poor at the moment for instance we don't have a booby club, all your surestarts sound fab so girls and boys, what does your surestart centre offer? Any ideas welcome
Glam on that subject what is Tiny Stars? I hear you mention it every week but what happens there?
lots of mats with toys, we do structured play for about 5 mins - scarf play, mirror play etc. nursery nurse & HV there and we are now getting talks on each week on something last week was resuables nappies tommorow is dental I think.
Other things on at my SS are toddler stars (1-2yo) messy play, rhyme time, story time, baby massage one off tasters, family learning (IT, First Aid, Healthy Eating) Tots Make & Grow (gardening), Pram Walks and Chatterbox - Help your child listen talk & Play with a member of SALT available. Its just a small one though at the big one they do Paediatric First Aid, beauty courses for mums to learr and get practised on! They have a Citizens Advice Session, a session for Grandparents, session for childmindersI feel uncomfortable on this thread again. I don't like the bickering

Thanks for the pork help, i think i'll definitely go with a casserole, DS won't eat anything spicy or peppers but would eat a casserole or korma type curry  Will go to Asda and get the veg in. Wonder if they'll let me use healthy start vouchers for pre-prepared veg, i.e roasties, feeling lazy0 -
oh for those who like 'Mika choc' asda have it at 50p ... so i bought 4.... oopsy'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0

Beenie, I usually put leftover pork into a sweet and sour. Massive plate of chips, bag of prawn crackers and I'm happy.
God, I'm starving now.

Firstly, Happy Birthday to MM. Hope your DH is ok also.
Right girlies,
I am in need of :
1) Highchair
2) cosytoes for pushchair
Any recommendations, advice.
Was just going to get the £25 high chair from Asda, but do still have £40 voucher for mothercare, so may take a trip to the Mothercare superstore in Warrington. Only problem with that, is that i will then see other things that i must have.
Have finally come to the end of the stash of wipes i bought before Alex was born. So must visit Asda, or Sainsburys to stock up.
Harley love the photo. She is lovely.
SS, yes i had to read. Thanks for that :rolleyes:0 -
Happy Birthday MM! Hope you have a lovely day and are vey spoilt!

Thanks WM, and can I join your request for advice and recommendations on a Highchair please?
I also still have about £30 of mothercare vouchers to get rid of but am reluctant to spend them on things that I can't see, touch and check in store - based on past seriously carp experiences.

WM, chopsticks just bought a nice cosytoes from John Lewis for £15, I think.. Which wipes do you use? Pampers Sensitive were on offer at boots for 6pks for £3.66, not sure if that's still on. Second best offer is Asda, 12pks for £8
(6pks in Sainsburys were £4.33 after a third off, IIRC).
Must dash, got to bath the strawberry yoghurt scented one..
TTFN all xx0
