  • MFD, Jasmine has got into the habit of using my face scub in the morning cuz she was so used to watching me do it while she was waiting for the sink to do her teeth. I noticed my bottle was going down quite quickly and caught her at it !!
So I have promised her will will do a beauty shop just for her, as she loves to wear her make up and perfume and body spray, so I guess I may as well let her do all the other lotions and potions too !!

Really must get round to doing that though, it was last year I promised her I would :)

few, just caught up but now it's time for bed. Some interesting discussions today but I've nothing to add so changing the subject completely does anyone know where I can get a nursing swimming costume (one piece because my tummy is all wrinkly :o).

I haven't found anywhere that does baby swimming sessions near me yet - still looking - however I'm also planning on a holiday soon so will need one for that.

Going to try and get to a buggy fit class tomorrow so better go to bed. Night all.

No, Monday I will phone ALU school and local school will phone in the afternoon (EP is going out in the morning and will take Christopher file) and arrange a day to go visit. Dh and I had a BIG talk about it, he's fining it hard to have to suddenly 'deal' with Christopher being different and has been worrying about things like parties with all disabled kids and stuff, but is coming round to the idea. He's been sheltered from it all for 4 years cos I've done everything like this so far. But he is getting there.

MFD, whippy ice cream - listeria and just cos it's gross? It's on par with cream from a can *vomit* Oh thank god you agree about chocolate fountains! My MIL said I was 'particular' when I refused a strawberry that had been dunked in one after seeing somone else stick a marshmallow in, bite it and stick it back in fingers and all! *double vomit* yeah, and not even go into the whole 'melted chocolate pouring through the air' thing!

LOL at your MIL saying you were 'particular'!! My MIL (who I get on with really well, Krystal will attest to this if she ever comes back!!) was probably saying something similar (or worse) about me as she walked away with her whippy ice cream last night!!

But as I say, I am victorian mum!! I am just lucky that hubby and PW are the same as me! DSS sat away from us last night but he knew that he had to have a starter and a main before he went near the pudding and he knew to ask before he went for a second pudding  :D I am very lucky that he is a good boy.

Do you have a feeling about schools?

MFD - just the normal ones. to be honest, i didn't know there were LSLS ones as i hate them and just pick up the normal ones for our niece. i think she only had about 3 spoons of them.

she has come on well with her sippy cup. maybe a bit late, but she really prefers a normal cup, but wanted to get her to take to the sippy cup as it's easy to take out.

she has the vtech walk and a wooden block one from ELC. gosh, she is tearing around with them now. although, she does like to stand in front of them to go back to where she came from

Okay, stupid question.. I get that mint and lavender are natural etc so you can have "extracts of.." but how do you get extracts of marshmallow? Aren't marshmallows just manufactured sweets?:o
    :rotfl: (sorry)
Althaea is a genus of 6-12 species of perennial herbs, including the marshmallow plant whence the fluffy sweet confection got its name, native to Europe and western Asia. They are found on the banks of rivers and in salt marshes, preferring moist, sandy soils. The stems grow to 1-2 m tall, and flower in mid summer. The leaves are palmately lobed with 3-7 lobes. Althaea species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Bucculatrix quadrigemina.
