My_Fathers_Daughter wrote: »LOL - I'm not that bad. But I do suffer from really dry skin on my hands because I wash them so often (probably upwards of 20 times a day on a normal day!). I always carry hand cream and use it 5 or 6 times a day but my hands are still cracked and dry like I have been working in the fields!!
Anybody else suffering? Got any miracle cures?
If somebody says booby milk I will wet myself!!!!

I'm alive!
Keira doesn't like germs apparently as it germs mean you jam your finger in a door and get blood, apparently!
Speaking of germs I was in the casino last night, and was speaking to some rough joiner dude and he was telling me that builders have a stomach of steel because they eat their sandwiches with foul hands, and leave dirty fingerprints on their sandwich, but it's okay because it tastes nice!
Im not a clean freak, so germs are A okay! Keira was never sick as a baby, either literally or cough/cold/diapoopoo, I think she developed an immunity from staying over at OH's mums skanky house!
I went into town last night with my friend, god she is boring! She took a whopping £5 out with her and went home with it, I met up with a bunch of other friends (because a big group of people is more fun than 2!) and she barely made an effort to talk to them, just seemed to expect me to sit and talk with her 100%! They bought her drinks, I bought her drinks, did she return the favour, no.
Anyways town closed at 3am, so we went to the casino and the bouncer tried to say my I.D wasn't me as my eyes are black in the photo? And my hair is blacker? I was like, I WAS 17 WHEN IT WAS TAKEN AND IVE LOST A BIT OF HAIR SINCE THEN!! Then I asked him if he was calling me fat and he let me in....
You have to get your picture taken at the casino when you sign up, I pulled a right gammy face, and he showed me it on the screen, blood awful!
My friend bailed at about 5, even though I said let me finish my drink then I'll go with you, no she just left, ALL MY STUFF WAS AT HERS!! So I ended up going back to two of my other friends house who live next to hers, stayed up all night drinking and went to hers at 11 to get my stuff bahahaha.
Not asking her out again, dour biatch.0 -

..Hand cream - I get awful dry skin on my hands and I've found the best cream is Johnsons baby cream. It's really thick like Neutrogena and works well, but it only costs about 90p for a tube :money:I get dry skin on my feet so once a week I slather loads on and go to bed in a pair of cotton socks, and by morning my feet are lovely.
Oh, thankyou! We have some of that - bought when Rhys was peeling all over, a stage I'd completely forgotten about (:o) until a few days ago! OH asked me to get him some hand cream yesterday and I completely forgot.. I'll dig out the Johnsons and get him to give that try0 -

She has never been like this till the last few months, and no matter how much I tell her its horrid, she doesnt seem to care !!
I have taken to following her to the loo just to make sure she is doing it !!
I showed Erin a blown up picture online of a dustmite, she dusts her room twice a week now! :rotfl:You could find a germ piccy. :eek:Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

Glam is the slow cooker queen!! Have you seen the thread on OS?
LOL - can I say I told you so!! I couldn't believe it when Benjamin wolfed down the pork done in the S/C!!
Today he had Nanny Ann's Salmon Sandwiches!!
How is the sleeping going? xxx
I did have neutrogena ladies but I found it really greasy! Will try the blue one next time
yes, i'll let you say 'i told you so'
oh, pork, i wondered if that would be any good in the slow cooker. might be my next thing to try (after the curry).
used to look at the OS thread before i had an SC, but haven't much after. go figure.
bless B. he tries so many things. i'm really trying not to let my food dislikes have an effect on what i give LO. it took everything i had to give her baked beans. to me, they should be banned. evil evil things. she does eat them, i dont think she goes massively on them, but will tolerate them.
sleeping is doing well. i could say 'so so', but i am letting myself feel good about accomplishing one thing and not being so hard on myself for not getting it all sorted in one night, which is what i expect of myself but know isn't doable.
we seem to have going down initially sorted, as she did so again tonight from awake (but dopey) within 5 minutes.
she is still waking during the night (the times she doesn't go off on her own) and sometimes she will go off with a few words from me or a pat, but i am at times still having to give her some milk or water.
i'm keeping a diary to see how we are getting on.af - I use a pataks curry paste, half tin of tomatoes and about 50ml of water with meat & veg of your choice.
mjy hands are cracked too pieces cos I wash them so much - I didnt think I washed them that much but I obviously do
ta, glam.
i'll give that a try.
i am most likely to use chicken, but when i did a whole chicken i really didnt go much on the texture.0 -
